MINI-HIATUS. MINI-VACA

Ayyyye!!! So, I work this week Monday through Wednesday! And I’m going to DISNEY this week! Thursday through Sunday! I’ll be bringing my laptop with me! So, I’ll be in and out!! Mobile mostly also. But still!!!!!!! <3 <3 SO THIS IS A MINI-HIATUS. That’s why I’ve been pretty much slow on discord and everywhere else if I haven’t replied to you or said anything. I’ll have to make an old fashion list of things I owe to people, or replied to. Ahh, remember the good old days? the best part about roleplaying Archie is, you don’t gotta use a lot of big words. my brain can relax then. no, but also I’m sure he looks up words that his friends use that are REALLY like huh to him? so he’ll look it up and use it when it seems like the right moment. he’s smart, but for well, different things. Big heart, but not the brightest. Though he does outshine a lot of people with his big heart and wanting to be friends with everyone.

Helena playfully shook her head. “That’s barbaric.” She said teasingly. She didn’t understand why he’d do that. It just seemed so wrong. “Okay fine, I’ll give you that. But what if the milk spills everywhere, huh? Then you just have a mess you need to clean with a wet washcloth because otherwise it’ll stink like nobody’s business. Cereal first prevents that.” Also, she actually liked the taste of soggy cereal.

▌🎶 ▌❝ Barbaric what? Nooooo, eating with my hands would be viewed BARBARIC. ❞  He would like to consider himself at times to at LEAST HAVE SOME KIND OF CLASS. Digging his spoon into his cereal and lifting up quite a decent amount, Pinky up, a simper increasing across the corner of his lips before taking the spoonful of cereal and putting it in his mouth, munching away at the crunchiness, nothing soggy about it. Exactly how he liked it. Points at the box and offers her some. ❝ You want? It’s Cocoa Pebbles.❞ Chewing away, and takes a second to think about it. What if the milk spills? ❝ That’s why I use BIG BOWLS so none of that could happen. See. And sometimes people will pour the cereal first.... and probably add a shit load of cereal, thinking they are that hungry. So that means they will probably pour themselves too much milk! Not everyone drinks the milk after they are done eating the cereal. It’s like I’m saving milk! It could be worse, I could be pouring the milk into the box. ❞ Actually, he wonders if that would be a good idea? The cereal does come in a bag so...... it can’t really soak through. Holy shit. He already is excited to see where this will GO. It’s like a LIGHTBULB TURNED ON RIGHT ABOVE HIS HEAD, can see the look of his face which clearly reads a HORRIBLE IDEA to most. But a GREAT IDEA to him.

“ Are you asleep?” he whispered, hoping that if the other has succumbed to the fatigue and felt lost in the world of dreams, he wouldn’t wake him up. Yet, there was that persisting urge in him to show and say how grateful he was to his best friend for giving him a home. @crimefightur

▌🎶 ▌❝ Are you? ❞ EYES CLOSED SHUT --- you would think for a second there that the ginger was fully knocked out, yet he’s still conscious. Least somewhat awake enough to hear Jughead’s words SPILLING through the silent atmosphere. It takes a while for Archie to turn over fully, though Jughead doesn’t say something for a while so he rubs the sleep out of his eyes, the moon is their nightlight, giving him enough illumination to see Jughead through the darkness that enveloped around them.  Eyes blinking, chocolate irises flickering over to the dark-haired boy. ❝ ... Yeah, dude, I’m awake. What’s up? You need anything?  ❞

VERONICA.

            “Archiekins — as much as I appreciate you being here, I am more than capable of surviving the night on my own.” Even with her father doing more time, thanks to her own devious but truthful set up and her mother … well, her mother had been taken away as road kill along the way. That was her fathers final move, the one he did to show Veronica that while he was behind bars she wasn’t untouchable. To most people that would scare them and while Veronica felt some unease, she was more than willing to fight him all the way. Anything it took but clearly Archie felt the need to protect her, which was as sweet as candy. “Not that I don’t want to spend more time with you. Why don’t we just pretend you’re here to rebuild our wonderful and clearly unbreakable bond, rather than the protection I know you’re really here to do.” Nobody really understood how well she could protect herself.

▌🎶 ▌❝ Oh! No Ronnie, hey ---I KNOW THAT. ❞ He does, he DEFINITELY knows what Veronica Lodge is capable of doing. She’s a WARRIOR. FIERCE. DEADLY in her own way. Takes him back to when he was bloody & bruised. Beaten up by Nick and his little squad. What was the plan? Nick wanted to sleep with Veronica. Sleep with him or Nick would have his friends beat the ever-living shit out of the Ginger Stallion. What an asshole. Recognizes the terror rising up inside of him, the anxiety twisting around his core, clouding his stomach with dread, and making his mind scatter-- every thought BLANKING OUT... he ripped himself from that chair and ran for his life. Like it was the last thing he’d ever do. But when he got there... oh, his girl. That’s his girl. 

There’s a reason why the raven-haired princess stood out to Archie, she is one of a kind. The moment she walked into POP’S..... he knew. ❝ ...I didn’t come here to be your KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOR... though consider me not against being your KNIGHT anytime... I didn’t come here thinking you needed my protection... I came here cause I wanted to be with you... I... missed you. ❞ He did, he really did. After everything... shit. They were going to enter a year which.... could as well be their last year in Riverdale High. Seniors. He still couldn’t believe it... he made it this far into life? Honestly, he’s shocked he hasn’t been held back yet. Cross your fingers it isn’t on his senior year. Not only that but maybe this year... they could finally have the chance of being just TEENS. No G&G... no juvie, no farm, and no mafia parents. 

Though still, looking around the place, the quietness that filled the atmosphere. No mom and no dad. It wounds him, it does. The last thing he wanted was for Veronica to lose both her parents like this. Well.... the loss of Hiram isn’t something he’ll shed a tear over. But her mother wasn’t... well--- she wasn’t the best, but he did like to believe she played along to protect Veronica. Who knows what type of father Hiram really is. If he could have his own wife arrested.... what makes you think he wouldn’t have something done to Veronica?

Taking her hand in his, swinging their arms together gently as he pulls her closer.  ❝ Pfftttt. Why pretend? We should rebuild and make this bond between us, forever. I’m living in your world, babe. Laid in bed with the thought of you... I couldn’t sleep without seeing you. CHEESY, yeah. yeah... I know. But what can I say? I just... look back and think... wow? Was that real?
