'La Spectre de la Rose' - Simblreen 2025
Here's my full Simblreen set of this year. Thanks to anyone who participated in my little flower hunt! The set includes the original parts which were available on both weekends, as well as the two bonus items from the second weekend. These items (excluding the bonus dress) are inspired by the costumes worn by Vaslav Nijinsky and Tamara Karsavina in the 1911 ballet 'La Spectre de la Rose'. Léon Bakst designed the originals (reference under the cut) and was inspired by Biedermeier fashion for Karsavina's dress, while Nijinsky's outfit simply represents the spirit of a rose. However, my interpretations are by no means meant to be exact replicas. The bonus content includes a second version of the rose costume without the skirt-petal-thing, as well as a recolour of a recoloured dress that has nothing to do with this ballet, but I thought it could use some more swatches.

Disclaimer: If you've only downloaded the acc sleeves on the first weekend, please redownload, as I fixed some issues. There is also a bit of clipping in the belt area of the Nijinsky costume with some movement that I couldn't fix.
also shoutout to @surely-sims for once again being the best teacher when it comes to meshing!

hi i really like ur cc thank you for making it!!
thank you very much!
since you accept cc suggestions, I wanted to ask if you'd ever be interested in doing an Italian renaissance gown, specifically like late 15th-early 16th century? I know it's not your usual time period, but I thought I'd ask! (Love the new Edwardian dress btw, I really hope I'll be as talented as you one day)
hello my friend!
short answer: I'd love to, but it's a maybe.
long answer: I really like the 15th-16th century fashions (outing myself as a pentiment girlie) and have attempted to make a renaissance dress a few times, to no avail. It never looks right. It's a tricky era and I'll have to do a lot more research.
(thank you very much though!)
Hi! I was wondering, what's the top you used in the post about the regency bicorne? (Post 735530135069048832!) I can't seem to find it, thank you!
hi! the lovely uniforms in this post are from @simmerofthedawn's victorian collection and can be found here!
Hi friends i'll be back in september i think and i'll remake some of my old cc and then i might start doing some light early access bc i'm poor. Cheers. Thanks to my patrons thanks so so much mwah mwah y'all are real ones

1830s Children's Outfits
Two fairly similar outfits for boys and girls. It feels a little blasphemous calling them 1830s. The sleeves aren't nearly impressive enough.
These were possibly going to be accompanied by some outfits for 1830s adults but... Nah.
Germain Tunic
The skeleton suit fell out of fashion in the 30s, being replaced by these tunics. Probably an improvement. Since it's the successor to the skeleton suit, it's most suitable for younger boys, like... 4-9. No older than 10, I'd say. Older boys would wear suits similar to the ones worn by men.

Germaine Dress
No arbitrary age restrictions on this one. It's suitable for most of a girl's childhood. Girls have it so easy, huh? Sarcasm.
