I believe Hurricanes follow a blood trail, whether you call them a hurricane, because they form in the western hemisphere, where the slave trade existed or a Typoon that forms around the Northwest Pacific Ocean, where a lot of bloodshed and war occurred in the Philippines, Japan, and China.
There is not much proof, that hurricanes existed before appearance of invaders in foreign lands. The Ancient Egyptians seen everything, and was everywhere, even on ships, but never mentioned anything close to a hurricane in their culture.
Africa has the the ability to send out sonic booms, from 5 different locations on the continent. I believe the formations for the hurricanes that hit Asia (typhoons) have a different origin story, than the Americas.
Regarding the American hurricane origins. Portuguese Ships would start reaching Ghana in 1438, Ghana would eventually be the headquarters of the European slave trade.
The Portuguese colonization of Cape Verde began in 1462.
Elmina Castle is located today in Ghana, & was built in the year 1482, by the Portuguese. The Dutch took possession of Elmina in 1637 maintaining possession until 1871. Around the time, when slavery around the world was coming to an end.
In 1550, the Portuguese built another slave dungeon in Ghana, called “Fort Christiansborg”, that held enslaved Africans. In 1555, the Portuguese built another slave prison called “Cabo Corso”, located in Ghana.
After killing off the indigenous peoples of Madeira, the Canaries, Cape Verde and the Azores islands, The Portuguese would bring those enslaved Africans from those slave dungeons from Ghana, and either enslaved them on the land, or sell them in Europe.
As you can see, there is a blood trail, that started around Cape Verde, and stayed in Cape Verde. Tropical storms, form in Cape Verde and travel over West Africa.
