I say this as someone who is in chronic pain. pain killers and sedation are meant for hallucinogenic experiences OR actual surgery and that’s it if you’re using pain killers for everyday pain you are 1. Out of touch with & neglecting your body in ways that will take years to come back from 2. Bringing terrible karma on yourself because God inflicts pain for a reason and if you thwart it it will be dealt to you tenfold in the future
