I've just finished rewatching the first series of Wednesday and I didn't really notice before, Wednesday is a queen and I love her but I love how at the end we got to see her friends be heroes aswell and they all got their little moment.

First when Tyler was going to kill her Enid saved her and was a hero.

Then Xavier, then Bianca and lastly Eugene.

I just think it was nice little nod to her friends and showing she wasn't the only hero, they all ended up being heroes

Im not here to slag off Wednesday because honestly I adore it, but there are a few things that really annoyed me about the show

Firstly, the love triangle between Wednesday, Xavier and Tyler is so annoying- what would she see in Tyler, he is a normie barista- if Wednesday would fall for anyone it would have been Xavier, the tortured artist. Xavier saved her and showed up after she falsely accused of his numerous murders ready to not only save her again but sacrifice himself to do it. And I'm sorry the trick with the spider drawing would have appealed to her. But we are fed a narrative where she falls in love with Tyler, the date in the crypt would not have impressed her- fairy lights and legally blonde?  And you know he was trying to kill her and her friends throughout their whole relationship! Not even bringing up the fact that Tyler and his friends attacked Xavier and ruined his art. The first episode she defended Pugsley from bullies, she would not tolerate a bully let alone love one. And when Xavier had scratches on his neck she suspected him of being the Hyde, yet when Tyler had the same scratches on his chest she plays nurse. Everything we know about Wednesday, Xavier was a much better choice, they have more in common, are a better match and he genuinely loved her.

Secondly, the second season didn't hit quite right. Obviously I love Xavier and his absence left a void hard to fill- but there was more.

Eugene's character development was disappointing, he went from a sweetheart to a background character with not alot to offer. He was a lonely boy who befriended Wednesday and only really had his bees, he was vulnerable and yet he still turned up to the final fight to defend Wednesday and the others. In the second season he was a bit of a dick to Pugsley to start off with and I don't see Eugene doing that.

Also Enid and Ajax- come on! You won't give us Wednesday and Xavier and now you destroy Enid and Ajax- i feel like they kind of ruined Enid as a whole- as soon as she wolfed out she completely turned her back on her self- dumping Ajax, and I don't buy her jealously towards Agnes was contrived- i feel like after dealing with Wednesday she would have been more understanding of Agnes.

Xavier Thorpe, he saved Wednesday and always protected her. He had such a great personality and sense of humour and his artwork was incredible. He was nothing but kind, he cared about Wednesday and the other students.  I think the way he was treated in the show was awful, I loved Xavier, I feel he was better for Wednesday than Tyler, he truly loved her, she was the reason he was arrested and he still showed up to save her life ( for the second time) and I believe if he had continued in the show we would have had a beautiful love story that matches that of Morticia and Gomez. Xavier was a king and the writers should have made Wednesday his Queen.

Kira Nerys, I adore Kira she is strong and resilient. She has fought her entire life for what she believes in, she has suffered on a monumental level- fighting during the cardassian occupation, losing her family, the death of Kai Opaka, falling in love with Bareil and watching him lose more and more of his humanity before ultimately dying in front of her, the murder of Ziyal, the death of Jadzia, Sisko being taken by the prophets, losing Odo, the O'Briens taking Kirayoshi back to Earth, but despite all her loss and pain, she has always stayed strong and true. She has always been herself and protected those around her. She is a hero. From her first appearance till the last second of the show she was fierce, strong, loving and loyal. She was an absolute beast, she had the most love and the most strength. She is a hero and an icon

Ralph Wiggum is a student who attends Springfield Elementary School. He is best known as the town's resident oddball, and has been immortalized for his non sequiturs and erratic behavior.
