Where the happiness was found after a tiring day of spending time at school ❣️
Dao WaterFalls in Samboan, Cebu Philippines By Kirk Abad.
Dao waterfalls is one of the most memorable experience in my life, not just because it was a great spot to go swimming, but because of the moments that was happening during this adventure. One of the core things that makes this adventure very exciting is because my family is in it, I mean every moment of my life that is considered “best” is that they are always a part of it, or they are there when it is happening. Going swimming in this waterfall is not easy, you have to actually walk a long way to go swimming in the beautiful swimming spot. The exciting part in this adventure is when my eyeglasses fall down in the water during the long walk to the falls, I was scared that i didn’t told my parents about what just happened, luckily i found it and i have never been more relief in my life.
The path that you will have to walk to the waterfall is actually treacherous because the land is slippery, there’s like a lot of water so it is risky if you have things that will be broken if being put on water, like cellphones, tablets and camera and then there’s this path where you have to hold on to this tiny rocks for support because if you don’t you will fall to the depths of unknown. But trust me, when you reach the destination, it is worth-it.
When we were done swimming, we actually have to go back and go through the same difficult and tiring path, but it was fun.
The things that i have realize, is that not everything that falls is considered broken, the water in waterfall falls too, but they’re beautiful.
FALLING IN LOVE WITH A WONDERLAND CALLED BOHOL (PHILIPPINES)
Have you been here to Bohol? If not, well this is the perfect place for you. Because bohol has everything you're dreaming of...
And today as you continue reading my journey around Bohol. Just imagine or pretend that the person who is travelling is you not me. Okay let's get it started.
So in here, I mainly came for 3 reasons:
First is to visit the magnificient Chocolate Hills, the Chocolate Hills are by far the most popular tourist attraction on Bohol Island and once you see it, it’s easy to understand why. Here lay hundreds of symmetrical green mountainous hills as far as the eye can see.
During the dry season, these hills take on a milk-chocolate color- hence “Chocolate Hills”. During the rainy season, they are lush and green. In here its a great time to have a picture taking to cherish the beauty of chocolate hills. And also fall in love with the cuddly tarsiers. Tarsiers are considered a “dependent” species meaning that they cannot thrive in the wild on their own. Every visit to the Tarsier Conservatory helps fund efforts and habitat to keep these cute little creatures alive.
The next destination that we will be going is the man made forest in Bilar, Bohol. Man-made mahogany forest stretching in a two-kilometer stretch of densely planted Mahogany trees located in the border of Loboc and Bilar towns. Before and after this man-made forest are the naturally grown forests of Loboc and Bilar which are thick with a kaleidoscope of green foliage, different species of trees and giant ferns lining the road. The forest that the trees breath, creating a breezy atmosphere that is much cooler than the outside. In their shade, I gadded in awe, hypnotized by the wind ceiling above me and completely forgetting that the road I was walking on was a highway.
The hanging bridge in Sevilla, Bohol was a great experience too. Why? Because here's the challenging part their bridge tends to sway forward and backward and swings sideways too. It gives a nerve wracking experience, but inspite of that it is very awesome and fun. It is really advisable to hold tight so you don't thrown off. At once end of the bridge there are a little souvenier and beverage too.
And ofcoarse the last destination that I will be sharing to you is the Sikatuna Mirror of the World , what I loved about this place is that the park has been set up as a lovely botannical garden filled with palms, orchids amd other tropical flora. All this in a beautiful setting where you can soak of the beauty of a natural surroundings. There is also a collection of famous statues and structures form around the world where you can take pictures on it as if you are in other countries. There are lots of chairs scattered around the garden to sit and enjoy the serenity. So what are you waiting for? Book a ticket now and travel to Bohol with your special someone or with your friends. Because the word Bohol is everything you're dreaming of.
UNEXPECTED FRIENDSHIP
Unexpected friendships are probably the best thing that happened in my life. Starting from “Who is that girl?”, “What kind of personality does she have?”, “She looks intimidating.” to “Take care everyone and don’t get sick.”, “Love you bitches.”. Circle of friends that share their problems, their breakups, cheering up and supporting each other’s decisions, crying together because of a failed grade, sometimes having misunderstandings but in the end couldn’t last without each other’s presence, these kind of friends are the most precious treasure that I possess and will keep and remember in my entire life. They might be the craziest gang that I have ever met but when problems come, we are always on each other’s back, helping and supporting without leaving anyone behind. As much as we made unexpected friendships, the future is more unexpected than anything else. At the end of the day, whether the time might come for us to go our separate ways, we are still with each other in spirit. We expect each other’s love and support throughout this journey of unexpected friendship.
My Mother
You were always by my side
To give me support, confidence and help
You were always the person I looked up to,
So strong, so sensitive, so pretty
You always provided stability within our family,
Full of laughter, full of tears, full of love
And still today,
You are everything a mother should be
Whatever I have become is because of you
And I thank you forever...

How toothpaste changed my life.
When a person faces puberty, their hormones rises and those hormones alters the appearances of teenagers. During puberty, men will have a change of voice, pubic hair grows in certain areas and their height grows enermously. Women on the other hand, their breasts starts to grow slowly, they will have menstruation and pubic hair grows in certain areas. Men and women might have different effects on puberty but they share one great concern-- ACNES!
Yes. Every puberscent teenagers hate acnes. Who would care to love that greasy, gross, painful and ugly looking skin infection right? I too have not avoided that phase of puberty. In fact, it did not just ruined my face but made me lose my self-esteem as well. I can never forget how people criticized and ridiculed my appearance. No matter how much I cheer myself, telling myself that physical appearances do not matter but how you treat and respect people, I could never lift my spirit. That phase of my life, I believed that every single day is a battle ground. But at some point, it made me disgust myself too, felt anxious about what other people would think, believing I am ugly and what worse had happened, I was not capable of socializing anymore. I tried every remedy I could possibly do; changed to an unscented soap, slept early, stay hydrated, avoided oily foods, bought Belo's product and washed my face twice a day. All of those didn't work for me maybe because my skin is too sensitive that it needs to be professionally checked by a dermatologist? I basically lose hope and thought I was meant to have acne all my life. Until my cousin told me that she red an article on facebook that toothpaste is a solution for acne problems. I didn't believe her because as far as I know toothpastes are made for teeth not for the face and it will make our skin dry due to the elements added. It is not also clinically adviced by physicians. My cousin insists on telling me to try it since I would lose nothing if I do. And so I tried. On my first use, I can already feel the changes on my face. After washing, my face feels so cool, it's not painful and not irritating in the skin at all. Yes it did dried my skin and I think it's a good thing because I have an oily skin type.
After a week of using toothpaste as my facial wash, my face has brighten up and I can really see the changes. My skin glowed up, however my battle for acne has not yet ended. It was a long process, it took me months to have zero acnes and blemishes but everything was worth it. I gained back my confidence, I can now socialize with people, and I'm not shy anymore and I think I look beautiful. Up until this day, I still use toothpaste as my facial wash, hapee to be exact. I hope that I can help people with acne problems and gain their self-esteem back. You got me!
