Where did you get the inspiration for Faelyn’s design from? Especially the segmented sections of the face.

I’ve seen the face segmentation done by approximately 1 other artist and I’m really curious where you got the inspiration for it from!

Fae's look was the product of a lot of iteration (there are a few other pages like this >_<) I wouldn't really say there was any one particular inspiration, obviously I looked at a lot of bugs and crustaceans though not that much of that ended up making it into the final design I guess. The jaw in particular was a combination of wanting something that felt/looked kinda like mandibles while still looking cute and that egregorians are depicted as having a split lower jaw
