Been wanting a ZZ plant for years but they're so expensive I just haven't brought one but guess what I just found for $5 on the half dead shelf at Mitre 10? Patience pays off

Oh this was truly in awful shape btw. I had to remove 90% of the roots, two out of three of the stems were rotten at the base so I had to trim them and put them in water/soil n hope they take root. The rest of it ended up splitting into three clumps of the root bulbs as I removed all the soil and two of them have no top growth but I plonked them all in some v well draining soil anyway and am hoping they regrow somethin. Am cautiously optimistic at least one of the five will survive
