Ethan - fairy of tumors and his wife Morven -witch of control

Ethan is a quiet young man with a niche interest that led him becoming one of the brightest stars in cell research. Being a fairy he's harnessing his power from positive emotions his research brings to him and others but his natural abilities are specifically aimed at inducing tumorous growth in living things.

Morven is an eccentric heiress of Spades inc. - holding company she inherited from her mother. Unlike her she's less interested in calculations and threats and enjoys leading her business through connections and manipulation. Her power is manifesting in glowing magical threads she can attach to people to make them follow her commands. Due to local state of Magix (my AU version) where every person has an implement shield against mind control she is one of the very few people who are able to bypass it.

They got acquainted in preschool where little Morven had trouble making friends with other kids due to her niche interests and lack of proper social skills. Ethan started talking to her because he found her shenanigans interesting. Since then Morven started "kidnapping" him to play together which caused her mothers a lot of problems with Ethan's family but their friendship and later relationship to grow and bloom.
