may 7th was my 1 year f/o anniversary with manato !! this art is pretty belated, but i'm happy to have gotten it done :] i won't get into it all here, but manato means so so much to me that it's hard to even say it all with words. i genuinely feel as though we were made for each other.. i love him sooo so so much !!

hi!!! you must mean my (arvens) top ocs of all time post, i'm assuming? sorry to get to your ask so late lol but, if i had to pick...

top 10 ocs of ours of all time (in my humble opinion)

1. dascon. if you've seen how big his gallery is on toyhouse. you already know how much i love that freak. but that's mostly because my boyfriend loves him so much, lol

2. nirya!!!!! ik i don't draw her as much anymore which is such a shame, she holds a really special place in my heart. without nirya i would not be whole

3. surprisingly, thomas. a side character like dascon who has even less general relevancy overall has taken over my brain in ways i did not imagine they ever would

4. ev. good grief. when i want to do something angsty i usually default to this guy. there's so much wrong with him and i love all of the issues i have given to him 🤎

5. snack. another character i don't draw nearly enough but still means a lot to me.. he was like. my number 1 oc when i was active on quotev which is crazy to think about

6. red. funny that the 3 shifters protags are in this list but they really are just that special to me.. i want to crush him like a bug. affectionately of course

7. salvador. i do not believe most of my audience knows salvador which is really funny because i draw him all the time.. i just never post him. someday, for sure, but for now ig he's delegated to being doomed to toyhou.se dungeon until i decide to finally release him

8. dizzy. crazy that the main protag of shears is all the way down here, but it's literally fine 😭 dizzy is a character i am generally pretty proud of in how far he's come since his creation, but i have a lot of work to do with him still

9. bayleigh. for a character i made just a few months ago, she is very fun to draw and put into situations which has escalated her into fave status for me

10. crow!! she's messy but i love her that way. i've kinda flipped back and forth on how i feel about her over the years but thankfully me liking her has stuck, thank god. she's very fun, i like having an evil woman who's evil just for the love of the game. bob is that way too but it's funnier when crow does it. i support all of her wrongs always (this is not true but it's fun to say)

on the subject of systems- im the person who sent in an ask awhiiile ago about having two dascon fictives! one of them recently fused with a rainbow dash fragment and you'll never guess what he changed his name to 😔... connie (1st dascon) constantly bullies him about it lol.

i just realized this ask is over a month old I AM SO SORRY !! anyway in full honesty i really am not a fan of the dashcon joke with dascons name (it just gets tiring is all, really) but your headmate is the only one allowed to make it now ever HAHAHA that's genuinely hilarious. i don't mind hearing about this at all! in fact, it makes me really happy :] i hope both your dascons and the rest of your system are well!

How do you feel about simply plural going down :[? As a sys host I’ve been trying to find a good alternative and have been. struggling. :\

man, it's really rough. in full 100% honesty we nearly had a meltdown over it. simplyplural really is the best app for systems, in terms of both functionality and aesthetics. from what i've seen all the other alternatives really suck. i hate how they all look, and i've heard most of them don't even work right half the time anyway. simplyplural had a few issues with not working here and there but it always resolved itself within the day. i loved how much information you could store on there, you could organize it yourself in a way that would be satisfying for you, there's no real character limit for what i could tell, unlike pluralkit. honestly? we're just gonna keep using it until we can't anymore, pretty much. then we'll likely just use pluralkit by itself again. it's really going to suck. like, really bad. i hate that i'll have to write out all that info again but i am NOT using octocon or ampersand or whatever they're called. you can't make me :P

when headmates who don't get along with each other front together it can often lead to some... interesting interactions. when we're really blurry, using the chat feature on simplyplural is really helpful to get our thoughts more in order, but it can also lead to discussions like this one. for context, sonic (🦓) was arguing with our flashy flash (⚡️) about their relationship to each other, and it was getting a little heated, so ratio (⏳️) had to step in. it... didn't go well.

ratio loves to lurk near front to listen in and make sure everything is going well. he likes to check up on who's in front to make sure we don't make any bad, impulsive decisions, especially when it comes to relapsing. an unfortunate side effect is that it means he's listening in to every conversation like 90% of the time, so i, soda (🐶), can't even talk about him without him getting mad at me :/ it's all in good fun, of course. he's just very quiet when he comes in, so he startles me pretty easily. as shown here!

hi, thank you so much for wanting to support us!!!! i've admittedly been having a pretty hard time with normal commissions, so doing smaller sketches for ko-fi donations would be perfect! thank you for the suggestion, i've been thinking about setting an account up for a while but this ask pushed me to go ahead with it. i'm still figuring it out, but i'll make sure to post a link when it's all set up! i don't mention it much here on tumblr anymore cause i was mocked on here for needing to ask for money online, but i have unfortunately been doing very bad financially lately, so literally anything would help.
