Sebek Zigvolt x Reader

“Why are you handing me a tube of ice?”

“Flavored ice.”

“Why are you handing me a tube of flavored ice?”

Sebek stared at your outstretched hand, eyeing the plastic tube holding grape-flavored ice like it was a weapon against his liege.

“It’s a popsicle!” You couldn’t hide the laugh in your voice, “You just got done with some intense training with Silver, so I figured it would help you cool down some. Have you never had one before?”

“I have not!” Sebek scoffed, puffing out his chest like he was trying to save his divinity. Not that you were trying to wound it in any way. “I do not do well with cold temperatures.”

“Yes, but you’re still sweaty and clearly overheated.” You pressed, gesturing to his flushed skin and stretching the popsicle a bit more towards him. “Just try it?”

Sebek sighed, perhaps even rolling his eyes as he accepted the icy treat from you. “If it’ll get you to yield your nonsense, then fine!”

He eyed the tube in his hands for a moment, noting how you already cut open the plastic at the top. A bit of purple liquid swished at the bottom, indicating it was already beginning to melt. He looked apprehensive, but ever the brave knight, he bit off a small piece from the top after pushing the ice stick upwards.

You could tell the cold shocked him at first, but even you could see the surprise in his eyes from both the soothingly cool effect and the grape flavor.

“…It’ll be effective in cooling me down. Thank you.” He finally spoke, clearly hiding his unexpected delight.

Then he was quickly walking away from you and out of the kitchen, perhaps to go enjoy his treat in secret.

You had no doubt he’d be returning for another next time he trained.
