i've really been enjoying learning how to paint digitally, this was kind of a test/challenge to see what i could do but i didn't take it too seriously so it's still a little messy

redrew an old drawing of ayesha since i've been playing the dusk trilogy again, very happy, very proud of it

tumblr tends to muddle the quality, so closeups of the face + the dress i spent so much time on

i know it's not really visible under everything but i also loved the sky and background under everything (heavily pixelated bcs these are just screenshots from my drawing program hh)

the one i originally got the idea for all this from, i made a little test drawing of this combination sometime last autumn i think

silly reasonings: flowers !! and the flowers symbolize angsty stuff !! half of the face messed up, anxious and traumatized after losing friends, "exhausted looking"+"poor, slouched posture" from dongbaek's page hhh

silly reasonings: i just think erin deserves to burn shit down as a treat after everything she went through, i think she'd like it :) + the corrosion version's "the world is cocooned in flames with me" kinda reminds me of her final scene

first batch of portrait studies :) this is really fun honestly, would recommend

i'm not aiming for 100% accurate, i'm just trying to focus on three things: color use, getting comfortable with unblended edges+shadows, and just generally getting used to painting digitally (i still don't really consider myself a digital artist hh)

guess who finally played through disco elysium after it sitting on my list for years

really wanna do some studies of the portraits at some point bcs i just adore the art style, it'd be cool to learn from them

the shading was a bit rushed (literally under 45min hh), but eh, at least i did something

oc-tober week 1: oldest oc

we're doing a little oc-tober challenge with our friend group, one of us made a list for it so yeah :) didn't have anything left of my actual oldest ocs so just drew mithiel, insula's first ever character (and their warlock patron...)

man, mithiel has changed a lot over the years, like their whole story and even their name is different now (still love them tho <3)
