alright I've got to do some quick math to explain attitudes towards AI to my boss.
we're looking to create an AI policy, and when we were talking about this, my boss (older millennial) was genuinely shocked to hear that younger people do not (seem) to view AI positively (a la the recent commencement speakers being booed)

Question 1/3

The chatter around you was low, with people playing hotpot at the back tables, trading being done not so discreetly, and some keeping trying to fish in the little pond. But none of that caught your eyes as much as he did.
Reth was so pretty, so dumbly pretty. He kept yapping, so goddamn happy to have someone who listens to him without teasing him for it. You sipped your drink, watching him taking orders and skillfully fulfilling them. Gosh, maybe it was the alcohol in your system talking, but the way you could guess the flex of his arms under his tunic drove you mad. You grinned and leaned over the bar, resting your chin on your hand.
"You're very good with your hands, pretty boy." You smiled, watching his pink skin turn into a deeper shade. Not so smooth for such a flirty man.
"O-Oh, you think so?" He smiled, like he couldn't believe he heard that right. God, he was so cute you could just eat him up.
"Yeah, you really improved your skills... your mixing is really well done. Good job." You raised your drink to him with a smile before taking another sip.
Reth squirmed behind the bar; you noticed how praises always flustered him. It both saddened and excited you. Poor thing needed approval and affection so bad. But that sure didn't stop him from chatting to his heart's content.
"Thank you; you have no idea how much it means to me!" He beamed. "I took a real interest in mixing; there's really a lot to learn! I feel like an alchemist most of the time." He laughs. "Maybe I chose the wrong path again. Not just kidding—well, I hope I'm just joking. I wouldn't want to think I betrayed my family's path. Well, I know they would be proud of me, but still. I think they would be happy for me, because I am! I love cooking; I adore it. Especially making lettuce soup—ah, I have to make you some more one day." He stopped, swallowing thickly. "Did I talk too much?"
You scoffed lightly and smiled. "No, pretty boy. You talk just enough."
He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Are you sure? Don't hesitate to tell me to shut up..." You didn't give him time to finish, grabbing his wooden necklace and guiding him to you.
"Nah... I'd rather keep your mouth occupied." You grinned. Reth turned bright pink, and his mind turned to mush.
You dragged your purple man away from his station and up to his storage room. He came willingly, smiling like a dork when he closed the door behind you. Wasting no time, you cupped his cheeks in your hands and kissed him. And Reth kissed you back like he's been dying to get his on you. He tugged you closer, grabbing you by the waist. His tongue is dragging over your lips, begging you to deepen the kiss.
Slowly he had you backed against the table, the wood digging into your back, but you didn't care. You just wanted this man closer. In the heat of the moment, the dance of your tongues, your saliva filled you with such a hunger.
Reth wasn't any better. He hauled you up on the desk, palming your belly, your sides, and your back. Fuck, you felt too good. In the meantime, you guided him in between your legs, shamelessly groping his cheeks through his pants. On a side note, it was the perfect squish.
He moaned in the kiss, his breath mingling with yours in a steamy mix. Dragon almighty, what he wouldn't give to have you naked against him. The thought made him grind against you, drawing muffled mewls from your lips. He was already half hard, but could you blame him? He wants you so bad right now...
Your lips could have melted together for all you cared. Reth was devouring you whole, like the best lettuce soup he ever had. Your hands traveled up into his hair, tugging at the roots; the sounds he made were downright sinful. No coherent thought came through his mind.
Just you, you, you. If he could just drown in you, he would. Drink you up, fuse your body with his, just please—
Suddenly, you heard a loud, aggravated knock. Then came Zeki's voice.
"I'm paying you for a reason, young man; now let them go and go back to work!" He scolded through the door before turning away to leave. "Young people, I swear..."
You two panted, spit smeared around your mouths. Then, you shared a glance before laughing like dumbasses. Reth kissed his cheek, and you chuckled.
"Now, you know what we humans mean by 'kiss the cook,' love." You smirked and wrapped your arms around his neck.
Does anyone else find Palia really hard to figure out sometimes? I don't mean the actual gameplay: just which bundles you need to prepare for what, how to unlock X, Y, or Z, etc.
I enjoy it, but there's no direction at all with some things.
