Zelink as Romeo and Juliet by JC Leyendecker for @AtelierHyliaās second volume
PRINCYESS ALWAYS SEEMED CONFUSED WHEN STARTED MUDDLESKRUMP STARTED AS THERYPISST. MUDDLESKRUMP CURIOUS. WHY?
"I very much owe you an apology. For when you offered your services, I did not expect the bright Bokoblin standing before me now."
"I suppose this is because I was taught certain things when it came to those of you and your kin. Narrow uneducated views and I am ashamed to admit it. Though this is perhaps the first time that I have been able to be around your people and there not be any aggression between us."
MUDDLESKRUMP BACK, MUDDLESKRUMP HAD TO AVOID STABBY LADY. STABBY LADY ALWAYS GIVE MUDDLESKRUMP LOOK LIKE MOBLIN GIVE MINIBLIN BEFORE THROW. MUDDLESKRUMP CURIOUS HOW PRINCYESS IS, HAVE BEEN IMPROVEMENTS?
"I am having my ups and downs like everyone else, but there have been more ups lately if that is what you are asking."
"It has been quite a considerable amount of time since we last spoke, Your Highness. How have your days been? Is everything going well for you?"
My eyes light up at your approach. āLord Toba! Isnāt this a pleasant surprise. I wondered how you have been fairing. Please. Come in.ā
āI am doing fairly well. I took ill not too long ago, but have recovered without much problem. I have also been getting to know my hostās servants a little more. I would have never realized he would have created minions with personality but there are a few with which I have found an increasing fondness for. Letās see, what elseā¦ā I tap a finger to my chin.
āOh yes! My host and I have not gotten very far in our talks still, but I do feel our tour of his correctional systems⦠if you can call them that⦠are drawing to a close. So far I remain optimistic. In fairness, he has made some good points and has explained well why he has done things as they are. I still do not agree 100 percent with it all, but I do not expect I could change his mind. I am just relieved that his punishments are not worse. Especially with someone as creative in dark magic as he is.ā
āOther than that, I have the occasional visitor or correspondence to keep me busy.ā I now pat to a chair beside me. āNow your turn. Tell me how you have been. It has been ages since you last visited.ā
"As embarrassing as it is for me to say this, I never considered that Muddleskrump's race might not have been entirely created by my host. These creatures are resurrected from what seems like thin air sometimes. But now that you mention the existence of tribes and from what I have seen since I have been amongst them more... I don't know. Your words are striking a chord. I suppose this may need to be a question for Muddleskrump later. That, and I may owe them an apology."
My eyes then light up as I clasp my hands together.
"Please excuse me for momentarily derailing your explanation. Tell me more. This kind of information is very interesting and I like learning new things that have the possibility of changing my preconceived notions. What is this tribe like? Are most of the tribes hostile like they tend to be here or do some coexist? What is this Vadazu like?"
You ever think about what Hylia really is? Like she forsees and plots all from beyond time right? So she is the Goddess of Time given her association with it and creation of the time gates, but isn't time Nayru's thing since she has the oracle of ages? Which makes me question, what are the oracles? Are they like you part of a divine bloodline or?
"The oracles are not something mentioned in my timeline, but what I have come to understand is they are exactly like me. The three goddesses at some point decided to become mortal and I am sure this oracle Nayru is a descendant."
"As far as the goddess Hylia and Nayru having similar associations with time, well it is not a surprise. Hylia was created by the original three divine. It would make sense she would share common powers with those who created her. They did leave her to care for a world all alone after all. Perhaps the power was gifted to her, or maybe she studied the origins of her own divinity and learned the power of time on her own. However it came to be, I am sure it was from that connection."
Dear Princess, Admittedly my vocal hatred of Olives as well as my Hyrulian nationality did poorly to endear me to these people but it was still quite a surprise to be officially 'exiled'. I thought one could only do that to ones own subjects. But no, I need return to home especially as the lease on my loft will be up soon and i need to renew lest I be evicted. I left a years worth of rent with the landlord prior to my journey but I suspect they've already been trying to show the place to others.
"Oh dear! Well, perhaps this was for the best. While I am sure it could be sorted out, I would hate the headache that comes with fixing such a mess when it comes to losing accommodations. Especially if the landlord is trying to move someone else in while you are absent. Do make haste in your return and know I am willing to check into this on your behalf."
Alright! I got the dress right here. Maybe I can be a fairy too Princess, a fairy and a princess! I could have all the adventures I wanted at that point!
"That is something you will have to convince her of." I gaze away from you, sliding your hand in mine as I begin leading us outside.
As we walk I make sure to keep myself between you and any guards we come across. Though, they make no attempt to cause us trouble. In actuality, considering the current condition of the castle, the day feels light and the sun is actually shining through the windows. It casts warm rays upon us and I can even hear bird song calling from outside. We honestly could not have picked a better day for an outing and I find myself taking a deep relaxed breath, as we make our way out the front entrance.
From there, we take a sharp turn to the left where the path becomes choked by brush and weeds. The stonework beneath our feet is heavily covered with years of debris and dead leaves, showing how long it has been since a gardener has tended this area.
"It's not much further from here" I nod inward, as I stop holding open a wrought iron gate. "Remember to be respectful and I will be here should you need me."
Didn't Gustaf and Daltus reign over mostly peaceful eras and mostly keep things steady? Or am I confusing the Hyrulian kings again, there are like twenty of them at least. But don't you think you are tempting fate by inviting his ghost? It'll probably happen now.
āLong long ago, there was an ancient conflict simply known as the War Bound Chest and the hero of men who vanquished the evil was the first known being to wield the Picori Blade along with something only referred to as the Light Force. It has been speculated for a long time now that King Gustaf was that hero. It was also written, that a later hero of Hyrule received help from this king from beyond the grave." "Now King Daltus had his own grief with the wind mage. He was not as active in the role of vanquishing, but he was known as a leader who brought prosperity. While that sounds less impressive in comparison, this king can at least boast that his rule did not stir others to invade. Vaati's attack was all about his incessant need for more and more power."
"If father somehow finds a way to return... well, I am unsure how I would react. Though I feel fairly certain he would only waste his time chastising me and my current decisions. I do not see him actually helping rectify past mistakes. But I will face whatever happens as it comes."
Hm. Yeah it was something like that I suppose, he looked like one of them shadow folk so magic didn't seem that weird from him admittedly but I never trust anyone who says that they work miracles magic or not. Nothing really changed too much though, just the guards getting grumpier due to being puppets or something. They had a whole manhunt for the hero back then, the soldiers were everywhere. It cut down on crime though I suppose, even that jerk who would steal my chicken eggs had to lay low.
"That does sound familiar. But I am speaking of the current Lord's rule. Has there been any strangeness from him? More than normal I mean... Or perhaps odd events around the castle currently?ā
Are you sick again Princess? Should we call the court healer? I think its a Wizrobe right now, with a Moblin for a nurse....
" A wizrobe and moblin?" I look at you wearily.
"Um... Please do not worry on my health. I am not sick this time. At least half of my replies are written. But I like posting them all simultaneously so that no one feels like I have left them out. Sometimes what to reply stumps me and that is why it is taking me a long time currently. I am here though."
Sages from the sketchbook.
[iām moving house and have packed my scanner so excuse shitty photos!]

Dear Princess, I erm, actually was thrown out of Calatia. Evidently I could no longer contain my hatred of the fruit and tossed one that was on my plate into the composting bin where it belonged. Evidently they also do not take 'kindly' to that. Or Hylians. -More than humiliated, Alvin.
āOh dear.ā I chuckle, thinking about how absurd it was that they were offended by the palate choices of other.
āI am both sorry and relieved for you dear friend. Yet you have been there for quite some time. Perhaps it is appropriate that you venture forth again. Unless you were looking to settle down in Calatia. Ether way, do not feel too bad. Wherever your journey may take you next, there is bound to be something better than olives there. -amused, Zelda.ā
Sorry Princess, I had to go home. Mommy said that it got dark. I am really excited though, is the great fairy pretty like in the stories?
āWell I think she is pretty, but I will let you decide when we visit. Have you thought hard on what you will say to her when you get there? Make sure you you do not forget that dress you spoke of.ā
