Royalty Sentences, Vol. 3
(Sentences for royal muses. Adjust phrasing where needed)
"What, no dancing? Tonight's for dancing!"
"You're not what I expected."
"People should know when they are conquered."
"We must maintain the status quo."
"I cannot afford spare time."
"If they lie to me, they don't respect me. If they don't respect me, then how can they ever love me?"
"How would someone like her know someone like you?"
"I will not be spoken to this way!"
"I don't care to be a man of the people, but I do try to be a man for the people."
"Paranoia must go with the job. You're starting to sound just like your predecessor."
"I'm trying very hard to understand why it is you insist on defying me."
"You have no respect for tradition."
"Do you find it hard to do your duty?"
"I don't believe we've been formally introduced?"
"If you think about it, this is quite the honour!"
"I knew it was a great mistake for a man like me to fall in love."
"I'm a little uncomfortable with that kind of publicity."
"Don't you ever dispute me in public, do you understand?"
"I've dreamt about this moment for so many years..."
"How will the world speak my name in years to come?"
"I will win the crowd. I will give them something they have never seen before."
"You have to keep up appearances."
"Well, I thought I knew everyone at my ball, but it appears not!"
"I have no intention of stepping down."
"In society, one must learn to conform."
"I owe allegiance to no man but whom I choose."
"I don't see how us dancing would create a scene."

The sunny Duchy poses a great threat to the gentle skin and thusly many noble ladies carry a parasol. Naturally, Her Enlightenment Ladyship has one at her disposal, with a likeness of her most loyal subjects - the beagles.

Queen of Wands ( Thoth Tarot )
The characteristics of the Queen are adaptability, persistent energy, calm authority which she knows how to use to enhance her attractiveness. She is kindly and generous, but impatient of opposition. She has immense capacity for friendship and for love, but always on her own initiative.
There is as much pride in this card as in the Knight, but it lacks the spontaneous nobility which excuses that error. It is not true pride, but self-complacent vanity and even snobbery.
The other side of her character is that she may have a tendency to brood, come to a wrong decision thereon, and react with great savagery. She may be easily deceived; then she is likely to shew herself stupid, obstinate, tyrannical. She may be quick to take offense, and harbour revenge without good cause. She might turn and snap at her best friends without intelligible excuse. Also, when she misses her bite, she breaks her jaw!

This year wasn't generous for the finished works, but I have a sweet feeling that my sketching and inking skills have improved and the process itself brings more joy ( besides, I have found a way to defeat my archenemy - laces! ). As a result, there is quite a bunch of pieces dear to my eye, waiting to be coloured in the next year. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Tickle you loved ones! 🎄

Everyone has something to be blackmailed with. In our modern times, the 'reins of terror' more than often are being held by grandmothers, who in their sly and strategic ways take possession of your most ill-becoming, disgusting, terrible...childhood photos. Which they later brandish in front of your friends. We hc that Anarietta, the favourite child, was no exception in this regard, with the only difference that instead of photos ( an equivalent of which does exist in the witcher verse, to be honest ) she had sculptures of somewhat overly-sugared nature, complete with babyish chonky graces, ordered by blind to the future woe doting Duke and Duchess. The only reason some still survive in the depth of Palace Gardens is that the majority feature her beloved childhood companions - the beagles.
