These Thoughts
These thoughts often plague my mind
Often enough, they now feel thoroughly imbedded into my soul
These thoughts have settled deep into my core like an unwelcome fiend
Refusing to Part , no matter how much I will them away
How I wish to go back
To the time I saw the world from rose coloured glasses and felt in control
Now the universe is empty filled with nothing but regret and loss of time
These thoughts, make me wish for nothing but to be alone as I figure out this rhyme
That is my life as it repeats itself in a familiar pattern
Over and over again it unravels the hurt and frustration
May I have enough patience to restart
So that I can find that place for me
Where despite these thoughts plaguing my conscience
I can empty my mind and be free
I hope that thoughts of my newest obsession would once again reign over my life chasing away those thoughts
So that I have a purpose again
And perhaps not feel so useless.
Maybe white
