If someone loves me maybe they'll write me a small starter for this ship for when I get home.
“Someone was bound tae bed her eventually, Ian. Isn't it guid tha' it's someone ye trust?” Robyn asked, her voice slightly higher than expected – but firm all the same – as she reached forward and placed her hand upon her husband's arm. “She wuid only o' rebelled an' went awf behind yer back.” The blonde knew that it would be difficult for Ian, but he still had Amara and Alessandra to look after – surely letting Dmitri look after Antionella was a good thing!
A low growl came out of his mouth as he looked away from Robyn again. He did trust Dmitri but that didn’t help him in knowing how his best friend was in bed. His blue eyes looked back at her when she placed her hand on his arm. It might have been a small gesture but in a way it did help Ian calm down a little. Robyn was the only one that seemed to be able to calm him down whenever his anger was at its boiling point.
"It doesn’t help that I know how he is with women…"
Robyn sighed as she moved her hand to her head and looked after her husband, “Ian,” She called out in attempt to stop him before her blue eyes looked at Smudge. “It's alrigh' lad, ah'll get him.” The woman made her way over towards her husband in hope to stop him from leaving. “It's whit they want, ye know.” Robyn bit her lower lip, “Ah guess the fact they love each other means nothin' tae ye?”
The prince stopped and watched as she came over to him. Smudge’s ears lowered a little and a whine came out of the large black dog as he watched the two, obvious expecting them to yell at one another. Ian, though, was trying his best to control his anger. His blue eyes looked at Robyn as she spoke but there were times where he looked away from her. Knowing they loved one another did mean something to him but he still thought that there was no one good enough to have his sister. There was also the fact that he knew how Dmitri could be and though he trusted his best friend not to hurt Antionella, he was still worried about other things.
"And I’m suppose to be happy knowing the fact that my best friend is bedding my sister?"
The Crown Princess moved her hands from around her husband's body and placed them upon his neck. “Well, then whit wuid my relaxed and straight forwarded husband make o' his best friend an' wee sister gettin' married?” Robyn questioned softly as she looked into his blue eyes with her own. She didn't think it was a big deal – in fact, she would have figured Ian to think that it was the best thing for Antionella. At least he knew Dmitri and treated him like a brother.
Ian was at a lost for words. All he could seem to do was stare down at her and try to comprehend what exactly she had said to him. He didn’t care if Dmitri was his best friend or not, his sister was being married off and that was all he cared about. Still without saying a single word to his wife, Ian removed her hands from his neck and put whatever papers were in his hand down on his desk. Smudge, who had been sleeping peaceful in a chair, lifted his head as he watched his master start to walk over to the door of his study.
“Quite a lot actually,” Robyn confessed as she looked towards the Lord. “We talked aboot some things, an' then other things – but mostly aboot how she wants me tae convince Ian tae let her go hame wi' ye.”
The moment she said a lot his mind automatically went to his and Anitonella’s time in the cabin. Surely she wouldn’t have told Robyn about that? “Oh,” Dmitri said when she mentioned how Antionella went to Robyn to help convince her brother to allow her to return to his castle with him. “She didn’t mention…Anything else did she?”
"No, ah just thought ah'd sit here," Robyn replied with a small shrug. "After talkin' tae Nella anyway."
"…You spoke to her?"
By Aslan’s mane don’t let it be about what we did…
*sits in his ask box*
"Is there something I can help you with Robyn?"
"I’m afraid Ian isn’t here."
“Oh!” Robyn exclaimed with a small laugh, “Oh really, so yer rather laid back, my Love?” She questioned whilst quirking a flaxen brow. “Ah find tha' hard tae believe.” She urged her body softly into his whilst tightening her grip on his jacket in hope that she could keep his attention whilst they conversed. There was a lot that she had to talk about with her husband.
"Of course I am." No he wasn’t. He was serious as anyone could be and he was certain his siblings joked about he had lost the ability to smile because of how rarely he did it. Very few things and people could make the corners of his mouth turn upwards into a smile. Her hold tightening on his clothes made him look at down at his wife curiously. "Is there something wrong, Robyn?" The way that she was acting was making Ian that something was at least on her mind.
She snorted, “Yer daughter was puttin' up a fight wi' the maid about goin' tae bed.” Robin explained as she wrapped her arms around Ian's body and stroked his back through his clothing. “She gets her stubborness off o' ye, ye know.” The princess confronted before pressing her lips into his shoulder blade in return for him kissing her forehead. “How have ye been?”
"Was she?" Ian couldn’t help but allow his smile to grow a little. Hearing about the mischief that Moira tended to get up to with the maids tended to do that. A huff came out of the prince when she claimed that their six year old got her stubbornness from him. "I believe she gets from your side of the family, Darling." He shrugged his shoulders a little when she questioned him about how he was. "I’ve been well. Father has been keeping me busy by giving me some of his work."
Running her hands around her husband's body, the princess wrapped her arms around his waist and pressed her chin into his back, she was not quite tall enough to reach his shoulder, but that wasn't something that bothered Robyn. "Hullo, my Prince."
Ian was trying to finish up some work his father had given him when he felt a pair of arms wrap around his waist. He had a guessed as to who it was and was glad when he saw that it was Robyn. Giving her a small hint of a smile he put his work down and turned around to face her properly. “Hello, my Princess,” he returned as he kissed her forehead.
