Good omens 3 killed the main human characteristic of Crowley and Aziraphale: selfishness

You can’t convince me that mr “let’s go off to Alpha Centauri” isn’t selfish, he wants what’s best for him and Aziraphale , sure he is amused by humans and loves worldly things but ultimately he can totally sacrifice everything for Aziraphale and him to be together.

Aziraphale on the other hand is selfish as well: he keeps Maggie’s shops “alive” by forgiving her the rent because he wants to have his records, he cannot bring himself to sell ONE book.

I loved them being selfish just like humans would, why kill this part of them and make them saints?!

One of my favourite GO moments is when Nina calls Crowley weird bc she really breaks the glittery 4th wall of the story and makes you realise how deeply strange they must look.

To everyone on the street there is just this extremely gay, pushy bookseller bookhoarder who probably sells something illicit or runs a backroom operation in his shop to stay in business in the middle of Soho. Then there’s his off putting emo rottweiler husband/body guard/possibly a sugar baby because his only job seems to be mogging during their thinly veiled public dom/sub play while he drives at a gazillion miles an hour in Draculas favourite hot wheel.

This morning I am thinking about the bildad era and watching that episode with my husband for the first time (both of us watching it for the first time since we got into the series together). He immediately clocked that they were in love when we watched S1 but I maintained a bad feeling that I was being queerbaited.

Anyway during the ox rib scene, he turned to me with wide eyes and goes: “oh my god, see they’re gonna fuck!!!” and I was like damn you know what maybe lmao
