WIP Brushbuddy

Working on a freehanded brushbuddy!

Please do not mind the eyes. Embroidery is not my strong suit, but I think I managed to capture the blank, adorable look nonetheless.

Any thoughts on how I could make him look a bit more accurate to the manga?

I'm about a third of the way done with the length, considering adding armature wire inside for posing (though he is extremely stiff right now, like a breadstick, and not as soft bend-wise as he looks in the source?), and am currently planning on adding the arms and legs. (hence the random stitch marker).

Anyway, I love my breadstick of a little guy, and any advice is much appreciated!
