I like to tell myself that my WIPs are on the back burner, but if Iâm being honest I change which WIP Iâm actively trying to work on literally by the month so instead Iâm just going to summarize All the Things I have in mind right now:
The Portal Fantasy thatâs actually a coming-of-age story about the childhood traumas of loneliness and growing up, and how we carry those wounds into adulthood; working title is Cuspwood.
A romantic poetry chapbook about loving my trans partner; working title is Mattress Work.
Sweet Corn Seller, a gothic horror novella about religious trauma and insular Midwest communities. Iâve done two complete drafts, but Iâm still figuring some things out đ
A post-apocalypse epistolary novel focused on queerness, neurodivergence, and mutual aid in rebuilding after a societal collapse, currently untitled.
A zine about trans love--specifically about loving trans people, whether thatâs trans people loving trans partners, parents loving trans children, cis people loving trans partners, friendships between trans people, and so on. I just really want to put a zine out there about loving trans people. Anyway I donât know the first thing about creating a zine so if anyone has any ideas hmu actually.
A five-part graphic novel/comic series about a paranormal road trip with extremely nostalgic americana vibes and a core story about finding your place in a massive and uncaring universe, in partnership with a graphic artist friend of mine--both of us are too busy to work on it rn though :(
So anyway people are always welcome to ask me about any and all of these projects.
