Another image of Flynn Harpell. I can’t say as this ever happened during any of our campaigns. Still, I love the concept.
A picture of my second favorite D & D character I ever played, Flynn Harpell (that’s fucking right Forgotten Realms!). It must have been around 1999. Shout out to Ian Stewart, who DM’d this particular campaign. #Cheers
I drew this back in 1997. It was Thanksgiving, the first I’d ever spent without the family, and I was very cosmically engaged with LSD. Needless to say, the evening found me, and the terror, perhaps explicit, in the dark elf up there was not mine. Even so, it was a ‘moment’, nor one I’d ever surrender.
This is what San Francisco has always felt like to me.
This is a portrait I drew one night, when the girls were away, of one of my best friends. I think this was in Charlotte, NC, sometime in 2002.
So these are headshots I drew of all the player characters in my old D & D campaign. It must have lasted at least five years, all told - and no, we never finished it. One of my true regrets? Perhaps ... (I never understood, all those years ago, how ‘Bowie’ Jasper was ... makes me smile)
Some character sketches I drew back in the day.
When I was young I played a lot of RPGs. One of my favorite characters, in a Rifts campaign, is the gunman in this one: his enemy a symbiote possessed undead ninja. One of my first forays into storyboards.
This was drawn during a very drunken night over 20 years ago. I have no idea what Jeremy Huffman is up to anymore ... though I wish him (and the Abyss Fish) well.
I like this one. I drew one of my old buddies, Grady, and then he ... drew me? Either way, we find here a double duality, and then a triumvirate. Who could ask for more?

Words. Words.
When I was young I asked a question ...
In which I tell the world about it.
White man money is the biggest faith on the planet right now ... and you all use it ...
Prove it if it’s real.
