I was at the shops the other day with my mum changing sunbun in the parents room, and another mum was changing her small baby who was making all those new baby gurgles. I asked how old he was and she said he was 4 weeks and my ovaries exploded and now I can’t stop thinking about baby names 😩😩

So I’ve moved from the capital of SA to a small town about 8 hours west, we have a population of 15′000 or so, but we have a kmart and a mcdonalds now so it’s ok lol. 

Anyway I had a job interview today and one of my friends that I met here on tumblr like 4 years ago (I think??) who lives on the other side of the country, and we’ve never met, tells me that not only does her best friend live in my town, but she was the person interviewing me today lol.

That’s been the thing for years. The HIV scare of the ‘80s prohibited us from donating blood. And they still hold that against us despite the fact that that claim has been debunked over and over again.

the wording on the paperwork is “Are you a man who has had sexual intercourse with a man after 1980” or “Are you a woman who has had sexual intercourse with a man who has had sexual intercourse with another man since 1980” (this was a blood drive at my college where majority of the students werent Alive in 1980.) I donated all the time back when I was a virgin, because o- , but now I’m not allowed to. So a better question for this article is “Why won’t baby boomers let queer people donate blood, even though all the blood gets screened for HIV and aids anyway?” though, theres a lot of room for loopholes in the wording of it

Yesterday while having a treat at the bakery with Melon some old cunt came up and goes “free fruit for kids! In there!” And pointed at the supermarket.

Today at the barbers I called the dentist and made melons first appointment, a woman working there heard my call and tells me “I took MY kids to the dentist as soon as they had teeth! It’s about time mum!”, then when we were about to leave Melon was demanding a treat by whining “I want a treat!” Over and over, and this lady gets in her face and says “you know what I say to my kids? I want never gets!”

Now I feel like a shit mother for letting her have a cupcake and not booking her first dentist appointment the second her cord was tied and because she is in a stage of pushing boundaries. I should tell them all to fuck off but instead I cried in woolies.
