Nature really went off with sperm whales. A 70-ton predator with teeth the size of a banana but it only eats squishy prey that it doesn’t even chew, it just schlorps them down whole like a vacuum cleaner. Big giant fat head full of goop. Tiniest fins in the world. Strong enough to smash a ship to pieces and smart enough to figure out how to do so but its first line of defense is just to shit everywhere. Possibly the most complex language in the animal kingdom and it creates sounds by blowing air through its internal right nostril (it uses the left one to breathe) into its giant fat head. It’s the loudest animal on the planet and might have the capability to create a beam of sound so loud it can shake your organs apart but they don’t seem to use that to hunt or fight. They’re highly flammable. We used them to make candles.

when i was a homeless 20-year-old i was rejected from multiple housing opportunities because i had 5k in medical debt from going to the ER after getting roofied and sexually assaulted (i was unconscious so calling 911 was not my decision) and UHC denied my insurance claim. so yeah, i'm actually deriving an enormous amount of pleasure from watching health insurance CEOs snivel and hide like the heartless cowards they are. may those who profit from our suffering live in fear of those they seek to deny.

Your Satelite AU is so cool! Really curious about the ELYTRa. Are they some sort of bike or car? They sound awesome!

Aw, I'm very glad you like it!! :>

ELYTRa is a personal aerial transport, so yeah, something like a car, but much more useful if you're traveling in a place without roads or with complex terrain. They are quite swift, usually can fit 1-2 people (3 if you're good at tetris or the trunk is empty) and have a trunk that slides open.

There's not much need in them back on Earth, but for people living and working on many planets (especially new ones) they are part of everyday life.

Now, I'll be honest with you: I know what they're used for, but I have no idea how's that supposed to look like. Not a single one. Maybe like a forbidden love child of an old racing car and a helicopter, whose grandmother was a deltaplan..? I want them to be a bit retrofuturistically-silly and resemble minecraft elytra in some way, but everything I've tried so far looks kinda ridiculous:
