HMM… i’m neither pro harmony, nor am i anti. like there are ships with hermione i absolutely despise, specifically ships regarding hermione && men old enough to be her father. but that’s me eh i can totally ship it an au, but only in an au where their friendship developed differently. when it comes to writing harry x hermione? i’m open to it if there 1) is chemistry 2) not in a scenario where ron is cheated on && 3) as said it’s gotta be in an au where their friendship hs developed differently bc lbr love is all a matter of timing. hope this helps!

am i the only one who finds it odd that europe has four major wizarding schools?(i say four bc koldovstoretz is in russia). while in asia && africa there’s only one when the population of africa && asia is far larger && too diverse to have like one standard school? like real talk, one school for japan && one for “all over africa”(jo africa’s not a country or a homogenous continent).  i mean i’m not the kind of person who yells abt jo being problematic 24/7, but like this reeks of eurocentrism. like srsly how the eff are you going to fit all of africa into one school?

     he wasn’t quite sure  why  he had thought that the library would be   safe   from the gaggle of schoolgirls that tracked his every move.     however,  at least  here  there was a woman who could    SHUSH    the girls   –   if only for a little while.     and … of course,  there was  something   –   or   someone   –   that made him want to return as well.      it was    VERY   rare for viktor to find someone that lacked interest in him,  even if they tried to  hide  it.     but this  girl  … she was always there when he went,  always   annoyed   about the presence of those that followed him,  always …    INTERESTING    .     he couldn’t stop himself from just  looking  at her,  sometimes.     and this may be the first time that he saw her looking   back   .     he finds himself overwhelmed with the desire to    SPEAK    to her   –   he knew that meeting eyes might not be an  invitation  ,  but he’ll take what he can get,  for now.     he takes a moment to slowly stand,  to quietly approach her.           “ i am …  sorry  about ze …   noise   . ”      a  gesture  behind him at the   half-hiding   girls,  who gave little  titters  at his   “attention”   .

                   OH WHERE WAS MADAM PINCE when she needed her? Perhaps it was her utter irritation over these blasted flock of girls. but somehow Hermione felt as if Madam Pince never shushed them nearly as much as she would tell her, Ron && Harry whenever they were in the library. SO UNFAIR! Honestly. 

                    For a while she felt the library go silent or perhaps she had just gained A LITTLE concentration as her gaze fell down to her homework, right until she SNAPPED OUT of her focus, seeing the tall figure before her. Had she been Lavender or Parvati then her reaction would have been to immediately burst into giggles or perhaps to bat her eyelashes before him. Hermione however, only sat there frozen, cheeks burning a little though not because she was starstruck by this famous quidditch player, but because she was WORRIED that he had perhaps noticed the irritated expression on her face, thought of it as being rude or something of the sorts. 

                     To Hermione’s UTTER SURPRISE he wasn’t cold or surly as she had always thought of him && he wasn’t aggressive or offended by her lack of discretion regarding her constant annoyance at his presence all because of his followers. No, he was polite, HUMBLE even && come to think of it, it was the first time she heard him speak.

                    ”Oh, urm— don’t be.” Hermione’s voice though a little NERVOUS, still had a slight bossy edge to it as she spoke. In truth, she wasn’t particularly nervous around him, not now that he wasn’t scolding her for behavior, it was shock that caught her L O S T for words, utter surprise over the fact that HE had approached HER. Especially as Krum never seemed to acknowledge any other girl in the castle. “I mean, you didn’t ask them to come.”

                          ”OH HONESTLY Neville,” Hermione replied, voice back to her familiar bossy tone, all signs of comfort && softness gone as hands rested on her hips, “there is no such thing as half a squib, had you not been a wizard && a squib instead well you would NEVER have received your letter to Hogwarts, no would you? && besides it’s only POTIONS we all have subjects we are rubbish at, it doesn’t make us any less MAGICAL, Neville.”

       NOT AGAIN. Every time did she find the Durmstrang student in the library, seated not too far from her. Almost as if the library had a summoning charm FORCING HIM into the library as soon as she entered the place. In truth, Krum was naught but a stranger to her, Hermione knew deep inside that it was HIGHLY discourteous of her to judge the athlete, she hadn’t ever even so much as spoken to him after all. She supposed he might be all right, but it was Krum’s FLOCK of female fans following his every move which was the problem, causing too much commotion && noise in the library all to capture his attentions. HONESTLY.  The least he could do as to study in that ship, or perhaps enter the castle with more discretion for once.

        For a moment she was staring at him, her essay on summoning charms COMPLETELY forgotten as her focus drifted off, at first she has been frowning but her expression softened a little right before she got hold of herself && averted her eyes down to her essay once more, HOPING that he never caught her gaze, Merlin knew that the last thing she wanted was to be mistaken for being a part of his flock of admirers.
