OH HEY BONNIE!

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We are halfway through the set, with all of the key women now fully imagined into cartoon designs. This is the final female design, which is for Bonnie!

Bonnie Fontaine. She is 20 years old, and runs The Sanctuary - a large staycation facility that is on acreage and designed for trainers to drop off their Pokémon to be given the luxury care treatment as well as for wild, anxious Pokémon. She is wearing her matching pyjama set with Serena from Chapter 35 of the fanfic as below:

"Whenever Serena stayed at The Sanctuary, she would always share the guest children's bedroom with Bonnie. It was a very simple room that contained two single beds and their respective lamps and side tables, as well as a pair of Kalosian armoires to place their clothing in. The girls would always wear matching chocolate and lemon flannelette pyjamas and chatter late into the night amongst the warm mood lighting, soothing their souls with secrets and tales."

I wanted to create designs that weren't in the exact same style as the anime, but that utilised all the bones of the characters such as their hair colour, eye colour, and using their overall colour schemes in their clothing. I feel this design has kept Bonnie's youthful energy from the Anime, whilst ageing her up into a very young adult who prefers the company of Pokémon over people!

It's been really fun to work with an artist and collaborate on every stage of the process. Now it's time to start dropping the boys, which will all hopefully be completed in the coming weeks! We have Alain, James, Tierno, Clemont, Trevor and Sawyer all on the way, and they are looking... hehehehehehe.

OH HEY NINI!

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We are halfway through the set, with all of the key women now fully imagined into cartoon designs. This is Nini's.

Nini Saint Germaine. She is 25 years old, works in Pokémon Venue Management, is dating Tierno Leroy, and the newest member of the KERA girl squad - especially given she is going to be guest lecturing at KERA for two trimesters in 2026! She is wearing her pyjama design from Chapter 4 of the fanfic, which describes her pyjamas as an "adorable butter-yellow peignoir set with fluffy magenta trimmings."

I wanted to create designs that weren't in the exact same style as the anime, but that utilised all the bones of the characters such as their hair colour, eye colour, and using their overall colour schemes in their clothing. I wanted to lean into Nini's body type in the anime and shift her into a blend of being cute, curvy and a bit cheeky! It's been really fun to work with an artist and collaborate on every stage of the process.

OH HEY LISSIA!

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We are halfway through the set, with all of the key women now fully imagined into cartoon designs. This is Lissia's.

Lissia Saito. She is 24 years old, a social media starlet in Hoenn, and is now the beauty specialist department head of the diploma in Contest Performance at KERA (The Kalosian Entertainment and Research Academy). She is wearing her pyjama design from Chapter 4 of the fanfic, which describes her pyjamas as a gorgeous Carolina blue satin two piece with white lace embellishments framing her figure elegently.

I wanted to create designs that weren't in the exact same style as the anime, but that utilised all the bones of the characters such as their hair colour, eye colour, and using their overall colour schemes in their clothing. I really like this take on Lissia, as it matches the cutesy nature of her anime counterpart, but ages her up and adds a bit of maturity to her! It's been really fun to work with an artist and collaborate on every stage of the process.

SHAUNA!

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We are halfway through the set, with all of the key women now fully imagined into cartoon designs. This is Shauna's.

Shauna Chevrolet. She is 25 years old, is the Department Head of Performance at KERA, and is in a long-term relationship with Jean-Serge Bastille, the first ever Kalos King and Serena's successor. Here is her outfit description directly from Chapter Four:

“Miette is a phenomenal mixologist,” piped up Shauna, who was looking heavenly in a pink baby-doll pyjama set as she sipped on Miette's concoction with delicacy.

I wanted to explore with Shauna's design by giving her a refined, elegant and having her facial features focus on softness and sweetness. I wanted her to have a demure, adoring vibe that leant into the sweetness she displayed in the anime. We kept her in her signature pink tones and pigtails, but created a more adult, refined version of who she would grow into. I'm super happy with the outcome!

MIETTE!

Miette DuPont. She is 25 years old, was the youngest PokéPuff World Champion, and is now the Department Head of Culinary Arts at KERA. Here is her outfit description directly from Chapter Four:

Miette was Serena’s wildest and most traditionally unconventional friend. Outrageously sexy, controversially provocative, and wearing a tiny pair of fluffy teal booty shorts with a burnt orange bralette and thigh-high white socks, Miette was absolutely ready to ruffle feathers at girls' night.

Miette's design is saucy, fun and playful, and exactly as I imagined in my mind. I wanted to create designs that weren't in the exact same style as the anime, but that utilised all the bones of the characters such as their hair colour, eye colour, and using their overall colour schemes in their clothing. I love this direction for Miette as an adult, and collaborating with my artist was super fun on this one!

OH HEY SERENA!

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We are halfway through the set, with all of the key women now fully imagined into cartoon designs. This is Serena's.

Serena D'Amour. She is 25 years old, the co-founder of KERA (The Kalosian Entertainment and Research Academy) and a history-making Pokémon performer. Here is her outfit description directly from Chapter One:

Standing in front of the mirror, Serena felt an unbridled sense of satisfaction. Her luscious yet slender figure was draped in an immaculately tailored chocolate peplum coat, with the pop of a burgundy turtleneck peeking through the chest, and a stylish pair of navy blue dress pants with a Sylveon-themed accent pulling it all together. It was an outfit impeccably targeted to appeal to the specific tastes of the woman that she would be swindling this afternoon. Additionally, it was the perfect balance of refined, sexy, and weather appropriate, as Kalos headed into the winter season.

I LOVE Serena's adult design! I feel like Serena looks utterly gorgeous and her outfit is exactly as I imagined in my mind. I wanted to create designs that weren't in the exact same style as the anime, but that utilised all the bones of the characters such as their hair colour, eye colour, and using their overall colour schemes in their clothing. We've kept some character very similar to their origins (like Serena here), and others, we've taken some creative liberties to reimagine them in a whole new way. The only rule I had was that EVERYONE in my world gets to be HOT in their own, unique way. It's been really fun to work with an artist and collaborate on every stage of the process.

WELL HELLO CLEMONT!

It's time to meet the gorgeous men of the To Be A Supernova universe.

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We have met all the women, and now it's time to meet all of the men. This is the last design of the set, and it's none other than Clemont!

Clemont Fontaine. 28 years old, the brilliant mind behind the Rotom Phone, a leading player in rewriting the rules of society during the season of suffering, and now the department head of the Laboratory of Technology KERA. Clemont is in a relationship with his long-term sweetheart Lilia, is deeply empathetic, intelligent, kind, and supportive. He is one of Serena's most treasured friends. Here is his introduction in Chapter 2 of To Be A Supernova.

-- Jerome could not believe his eyes as they wandered through the science lab. It completely contrasted the building’s exterior, with crisp modern design that created a futuristic aesthetic. There were various areas for all sorts of scientific exploration and learning, including chemistry collaboration spaces, architecture drawing boards, engineering test sites, and robotics setups. A blonde man, wearing a hydrangea blue laboratory coat with lemon accents and a pair of moonbeam spectacles, was deep in the throes of testing a geothermal invention on his Diggersby as students rapidly recorded results. Jerome recognised him instantly as one of his idols.

“Mum, it’s him! It, it, it’s Clemont!” the boy exclaimed, flapping his arms.

Clemont looked towards them at the sound of his name, noticing Serena flashing him the widest of grins as he waved them to come on over. Jerome bolted across to check out the invention, as Clemont engaged him deep in conversation about what he was attempting to create. Isabella went over and gave Diggersby a pat behind the ears, making the big boy bunny Pokémon chuckle. “Serena! It’s so lovely to see you! I see you’ve brought along some special guests today to spend some time in my lab,” Clemont chirped.

“I have, Clem! Marianne, I’m honoured to introduce the one and only, Monsieur Clemont Fontaine. He is the department head of this wonderful Laboratory of Technology and a dear personal friend of mine. Clemont, this is Marianne Delacore. She is here with her twin children, Jerome and Isabella, to explore what KERA has to offer,” Serena explained, as Marianne and Clemont shook hands. --

I wanted to create designs that weren't in the exact same style as the anime, but that utilised all the bones of the characters essences with their hair colour, eye colour, and overall energy. I also had one condition for my artist: everyone had to be HOT in their own ways. Of all the men that I had designed, Clemont has knocked the wind out of me. He is gorgeous. I think it's the facial hair and the beautiful blue eyes. He's got geek charming written all over him, and I adore it!

Huge shoutout to @lara-verse for completing all of these pieces for me! It's so wonderful to have the full set, and I can now read my long fic and picture everyone in my mind!

WELL HELLO SAWYER!

It's time to meet the gorgeous men of the To Be A Supernova universe.

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We have met all the women, and now it's time to meet all of the men. This is Sawyer's design.

Sawyer Tanaka. 23 years old, and the key core strategist, career designer and relationship liaison at KERA. Sawyer is intelligent, reserved, humble and caring, as well as deeply passionate about his work at KERA. Here is his introduction in Chapter 9 of To Be A Supernova.

-- Serena now stood in front of the Elite 8 alongside her beloved academic partner, Sawyer Tanaka, donning her favourite emerald green power suit with golden filigree running along the centre of her jacket and the sides of her dress pants. She was completely poised, crisp, and in the pocket as she set the intention for this afternoon’s session with command.

“As you all know, you are the Elite 8 of KERA, our top entertainment students that are heading into your final trimester in 2026. Firstly, congratulations to you all. This is an amazing feat, as the calibre of students across the board at KERA is exceptional. Secondly, Monsieur Sawyer and I have set things up a little differently for today’s session. We are going to take it easy on the entertaining side of things and focus more on your career trajectories. We will call you in individually and have frank conversations with you all about why you are an Elite 8 member, your unique challenges to tackle, and your branding niche options so that we can strategise the best approach for your private sessions next year. Is everyone following along?”

The Elite 8 nodded with approval as she continued.

“Great. Each of you will now have an opportunity to pitch your ideal career pathway to Monsieur Sawyer and me. Once everyone has had this discussion, we will sit down privately and cross-reference all the factors before reconnecting to present what we feel is the best career pathway for you. You will see around you a range of binders. These are deep dives on all of the current career opportunities in the services and entertainment industries that we currently have hot on the market. We also have binders on image branding, media training, building a management team, etc. In between your interviews, scour these binders, and use the blank journals in the corner of the room to take notes of anything that stands out to you. Understood?”

“Yes, Madam Serena,” they chorused, fierce determination shining from each and every one of them.

“Brilliant!” She chirped, turning to her academic partner, “Sawyer, do you have anything to add?”

Sawyer, who had coordinated his outfit with Serena’s by wearing a long emerald green overcoat with golden filigree embellishments along the sleeves and the hem, pulled his notebook out of his breast pocket and took over the address.

“All I will say is that it is imperative that you speak authentically and honestly with us during these interviews. Each of you has so much to offer the world with your talent, but my role as the head of strategy at KERA is to connect all the dots of opportunity and outliers together that you cannot yet see in yourselves. We hope that your studies at KERA so far will allow you to trust Madame Serena and me with this very important step in your careers.” --

WELL HELLO TIERNO!

It's time to meet the gorgeous men of the To Be A Supernova universe.

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We have met all the women, and now it's time to meet all of the men. This is Tierno's design.

Tierno Leroy. 25 years old, the department head of the Pokévision Dance Atelier at KERA, and completely besotted by his girlfriend Nini Saint Germaine, Tierno is a bundle of energy, a whole lotta fun, but also a giant softie! Here is his introduction in Chapter 1 of To Be A Supernova.

-- Jerome and Isabella’s brains were on fire at the announcement of these activities as they beelined into the castle, joyous and full of energy. Marianne had a few questions for Serena about Pokévision as they wandered the lower floor, which Serena explained in great technical detail. She was in the middle of showing Marianne one of the circular editing suites when a tall, grandiose bundle of joy bounced in and hung his arm over Serena’s shoulders.

“Yo! Sup, girly pop!” Tierno teased, “So cute of you to visit me.”

Serena pressed her heel into his left foot, turned away from Marianne’s eyeline and plastered the most passive-aggressive grin she could muster. “Tierno, this is Marianne, a potential investor that I’m showing around.”

Tierno laughed and took his arm off Serena’s shoulder as he turned towards Marianne to introduce himself. “I jest! You must be Jerome’s mum. I’m Monsieur Tierno Leroy, the department head here at the Pokévision Atelier. Jerome’s having a ripper time in the dance studio hanging with the Studiomons if you wanna check ‘em out.”

Marianne thanked Tierno, advising that she should probably keep an eye on Jerome, whilst giving the two of them a very curious look as she headed off.

“Girly pop… really?” Serena flamed, shooting her eyebrows up in disapproval, “You’re something else, Tee…” --

WELL HELLO TREVOR!

It's time to meet the gorgeous men of the To Be A Supernova universe.

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We have met all the women, and now it's time to meet all of the men. This is Trevor's design.

Trevor Vanderbilt. 25 years old, the department head of Photography at KERA, and Serena's exclusive editorial photographer. Trevor is refined, charming, and delightfully aesthetic when it comes to all facets of his life. Here is his introduction in Chapter 1 of To Be A Supernova.

-- Serena hadn’t seen Marianne around, so she figured she would duck up to the Photography Studios. She wandered down the hallways past the various empty portrait setups, portfolio rooms and collaborative areas to find Marianne staring up at a massive photo of a shiny Litleo sunbathing in the Poké Pelago. A warm hand landed on her shoulder as a gorgeous man with diamond grey eyes, long flaming hair and a sage green tailored suit beamed towards her. She nodded with approval before he walked up and stood beside Marianne.

“I see you’ve found a personal favourite in my shining stars collection… Hello! I’m Monsieur Trevor Vanderbilt, the department head of the Photography Studio.”

“Oh, Trevor, my goodness!” Marianne gushed with excitement, “I… I am a massive fan of your work! My husband has 3 pieces from your Safari Zone collection in his grand salon.”

Serena observed as Trevor delighted Marianne with immense wit and charm, seeing her slip straight back into her thirsty trance.

Trevor and Serena originally met as kids. When she became Kalos Queen, he took a photo of her mid-competition that was so beautiful that she asked if he would work for her as her personal editorial photographer, and the rest was history. For Serena, there was no other suitable candidate to take the helm of the Photography Studios other than Trevor, as no one could capture the raw, sparkling essence of a person or Pokémon quite like he could.

“Serena darling!” Trevor called out, approaching her as if she were a brand new addition to the room, “I am going to steal this divine woman off your hands if you don’t mind. The studio is nice and quiet today as the students are all out on their final assessment fieldwork, so I’d love to have a chance to get to know Marianne and see how we can help her little ones with their futures...” --

WELL HELLO ALAIN!

It's time to meet the gorgeous men of the To Be A Supernova universe.

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We have met all the women, and now it's time to meet all of the men. This is Alain's design.

Alain Auclair. 32 years old, and the Department Head of the Research and Care Wing at KERA. Alain is a man of mystery to most. Brooding, dry and reserved towards everyone... except for his former partner Mairin Giles, and for his best friend and core person, Serena D'Amour. Here's his introduction from Chapter 3 of To Be A Supernova

-- Serena waved Marianne off, finally allowing herself to breathe a genuine sigh of relief. Being an expert puppeteer was very rewarding, especially from the lens of power and control, but it required a level of hyper vigilance that was so draining to prolong. Alas, it was all part of her strict protocol to ensure she was able to protect her true authentic self, so to her, it was worth the fatigue. Luckily, she knew that she would get to spend the next half an hour letting off steam with her favourite person in the entire world, and given she was finally alone, she knew to expect his arrival any second…

“I wonder how many pechabrew shots Serena will be needing tonight…?”

Serena felt her spirits lift solely from hearing the sound of his voice. She looked over her shoulder and took him in. His hair, always a little fluffy due to its volume, was so black that it shone midnight blue when it hit the sun. His deep, ocean eyes that for most reflected solitude and mystery, but for her bore only kindness and warmth. The way he slightly towered over her, yet still felt completely within reach. Wearing his signature white lab coat, black trousers and sky blue woollen knit jumper. She was safe now. She didn’t have to play the role of Serena D’Amour: she could just exist for a while as herself. --

WELL HELLO CHEF JAMES. It's time to meet the gorgeous men of the To Be A Supernova universe.

I commissioned a 12 piece cast character design set for my Pokémon fanfic To Be A Supernova. We have met all the women, and it's time to start meeting all of the men. This is James' design.

James Yamamoto. Known to everyone at KERA as Chef James. Former Team Rocket member turned world renowned chef, working at a range of fine dining establishments before hired by recommendation from Jessilia to take on the role of KERA's head chef . He is 42 years old, and is one of the many pieces in Serena's psychological game with the wealthy female investors, after all, these women that can't help but fall into a lusty heap as they watch the Chef get to work, and Serena uses that to the fullest. Here's his description from Chapter 1 of To Be A Supernova

-- Marianne lusciously drawled, “And you have a viewing window… my gosh… I could just watch him work all day…”

James looked up from his prep work, observing the two women in front of him. Marianne stood in a trance, frothing over his broad shoulders that were beautifully framed by his custom silk chef's coat. The plum colouring perfectly paired with his long, lilac hair and his otherworldly cerulean green eyes. He was fit, relatively tall, and carried the Kantonian genetics of youth, barely looking a day past 35 despite being in his early 40s. He turned his gaze directly onto Serena, who wasted no time commanding him with the subtlest of smirks.

You know what to do. James gave a subtle nod towards Serena and, as instructed, proceeded to knead Marianne’s hormones like a ball of cookie dough. --
