Imagine a Slumber Party with your F/O(s)!
You build a pillow fort together. Your F/O works on making it nice and perfect, because they want it to be a good experience not just for them, but for you. At the end of the night, the both of you curl up together and snooze because it’s just so comfortable.
If it’s a cold day, the both of you drink hot chocolate together; if it’s summer, you chill out with some iced tea or another cold drink you like. Either way, your F/O goes out of their way to make it or get it for you beforehand.
You watch movies before bedtime- either horror, or comedy- and enjoy the company of each other. Scary movies spook you and you stay close to your F/O; comedy movies keep you both laughing til your stomachs hurt, and you need to lay back and breathe to relax. (Or heck, if the horror movie is bad enough, you’ll both be cracking up at that too.)
SHARING A BIG SOFT SLEEPING BAG OR BED
Sleeping in together from staying up all night. It’s comfortable, cozy, and you don’t want to move; your F/O gets up before you, refusing to disturb you in your peaceful slumber, and makes you a hearty breakfast. You wake to the smell of your favorite food from the kitchen.
Playing video games or board games together, including those friendship testers. Uno, Phase 10, Monopoly, Sorry, Mario Party? They’re all free game. Imagine the salt and hilarity. (At the end of the day, you’re there to have fun- it’s nothing personal, and no one’s really mad.)
During movie time, there’s a huge bowl of popcorn that everyone shares. There’s so much even the both of you (or all of you) can’t even finish! By the time the night is over… well, most of the pantry and fridge are empty.
When you and your Platonic F/O (or F/Os, if it’s really a party, and you invited more than one) settle down to sleep, it’s tough to actually get some rest because one of you murmurs something stupid under their breath, causing everyone to laugh really hard.
