Synopsis: Esper Daedalus Kane has been afraid of his abilities since the day his mother looked at him like he was a monster. At 18 years old, he discovers there are plenty of bigger worries for an Esper like him. For example, falling in love at first sight with a shockingly attractive and friendly guide who seems to be embroiled in some love triangle of the nation's largest pharmaceutical corporation. Fortunately, Dae is a coward who knows the best solution is to run away. Unfortunately, fate, along with the aforementioned attractive guide, won’t let Dae off so easily.

To kick off the next few weeks of previews before The Oceanview Guestbook’s release on September 23, 2024, we are proud to reveal the zine’s cover at last! 

This beautiful piece of art was created by Rubeau (@rubeau-art on tumblr, Rubeaukreatives on Instagram). We wanted the zine’s cover to represent both of Remedy’s amazing games, Alan Wake and Control. The Oceanview brings both sides of this universe together!

a handful of npcs from my dnd campaign ive been running since february :3 its called slungeons and slagons bc my name is slaine and its dungeons and dragons

anywho! left to right:

nerrik, human? bloodhunter/rogue, killer for hire and works primarily for an organized crime organization called the deerstalker syndicate. awkward wet cat and freakishly tall- hes 7’2” 😭 i promise the others arent the size of peas.

sorley southshield, mountain dwarf necromancy student at the citys magic university who graverobs for class and accidentally dug up the party who got buried alive

taeral farona, high elf, professor of graviturgy and enchantments at the same university sorley attends. they also work for the deerstalker syndicate- well. worked. theyre a bitch!

lemòn, aarakocra merchant! he runs the magic shop the party goes to, he doesnt speak common except for a handful of phrases so his daughter, poppyseed, translates for him.

there are so many more npcs . however these are the only ones i wish to show rn :3
