Ugh you're one of those people who think all because you see a "Cis White Man Who Throws Gas So He Must Be A Nazi." You are the toxic one here. Don't you think that if the developers ever saw how people treat Caustic (like you) how unhappy they would be when Caustic was created to NEVER be seen like that? Or how about his voice actor JB Blanc seeing that a character he took time in to perfect with hours in a sound room receiving such hate and being called a Nazi? You're the scum of the Earth.

im not going to compare a character to a nazi bc nazis are real and hurt real people where as these characters arent real. but the developers specifically mentioned he was based on mustard gas warfare, horror movie villains, and a Monster In The Fog archetype, which is kind of a red flag for how we are meant to view him.

hes a fantastically designed and produced character; his skins are always top notch (even if i dont personally like them)  and his voice acting is phenomenal. it doesnt matter if i think hes a well designed fictional character in a battle royale game, this kind of character archetype that is themed around toxicity still makes me incredibly uncomfortable and i have a right to dislike him. 

dont put words in my mouth asshole. ive always been very clear on where i stand on his character and my beef has ALWAYS been with freaks like you who try to repeatedly tell me im wrong for feeling uncomfortable by characters designed to make you uncomfortable.

Ok just because CAUSTIC when we first knew him we all saw him as bad, same with Revenant. But you don't hear people bitching about Revenant fans wanting to fuck a robot, yet you are over here complaining about Caustic fans when actually if you listen to his voice lines he's POLITE like how he'll say "excuse me" when he pings something. ALSO IN CANON LORE HE TURNED OVER A NEW LEAF AND IS A FATHER FIGURE FOR WATTSON!! I can't believe I followed a fuckin Caustic Hater holy shit.

I didn't see it there when I first followed. But by God how fuckin low and pathetic do you have to be to to hate on Caustic of all people. Do you realize how if you look at his lore carefully that when we saw the report on how he supposedly "died" in that lab that if you think he left his poor mother distraught in thinking her son died? If you look at the lore again I bring up that he bettered himself and took place as the acting father for Wattson with her Papa gone. He's a good man now.

why do we have to look ‘carefully’ at his lore to see a good person? why can’t he just be a smelly greasy bad guy. You can still like a bad guy character without olympic pole vaulting through hoops to do explain away their badness
