Maybe design tips and job for a Mohave Turquoise?

mojave is made by affixing turquoise pieces to a bronze matrix so maybe they can be like a cluster experiment or conjoined like the rutile twins, with bronze striping/inclusionsstone of communication & wisdom of life experiences, so their job could be historian, record keeper, advisor, or scribe

hullo! i sent in this question a bit ago so i guess its been deleted, but im still interested in your thoughts. what do you think would make some good abilities for a peanut wood? i've already got organic shell creation (like a wood/nut shell that they create around their body, not a clam shell), and buoyancy manipulation (i mean peanut wood issss made from drift wood), but am unsure of what other abilities a peanut wood could have. also any ideas for what their purpose could be on homeworld? ^^

turn self into 'stone' (focus to increase durability/density as a means of defense or as a self-projectile)

create or build robots similar to flask robonoids but they're like peanut shaped? or shipworms? can drill and shoot hardening goop to trap things

so i was trying to create a fusion weapon, and i was thinking a sword and a pair of tonfas (like police batons) would make like a katar/dagger. What do you think?

I've got a little question, what would you suggest be the abilities of an Orthoclase?

calming aura/touch (similar to BD’s emotion aura)

enhanced listening (can focus to listen to/sense something far away)

prolonged shapeshifting (to imitate other gems for a longer period of time)

produces a glue-like substance that sticks to others/objects and can harden or trap them, can also harden into weapons/projectiles to throw, sticky bombs maybe?

What kind of role would an Amber have on homeworld??

amber is organic (with preserved specimens) & are used for psychic protection/healing, so they could be something lower-level:

gem equivalent of a farmer (like kindergarten technician/helpers?)

hunters/prospective colony scouts

scribes/archive keepers

iolites are also called water sapphires so they could have some kind of hydro/cyrokinetic abilities? it’s also used in astral projection & accessing thoughts/creativity so they could have holo-projection, mind-reading, or flash precognition

INKING GUIDELINES by Lead Character Designer Danny Hynes

Quite a few of you eagle-eyed Steventhusiasts have noticed that we stamp our character, prop and effect models with the disclaimer “ROUGH LINE ART - REFER TO STANDARD CLEAN UP LINE”. What exactly do those words mean?

Early in the production, Danny Hynes created these guides for our animators at Rough Draft and Sunmin studios. (Using a prototype character design of Steven himself!) They detail how exactly the rough animation should be cleaned up. Of particular note is the subtle variation of top and bottom lines to imply a light source. 

The second image is a guide to how characters and props should be inked as they get more and more distant from the camera.

Hiya! I have a question about abilities for Diaspore. All I've got is Memory Manipulation, and there isn't much metaphysical properties for this gem to go off from on the internet, so I'm having trouble figuring out what other powers they could have. If it helps, they have their gem on their left palm and they can summon a parasol. Also they aren't traditionally used for battle and more for maintaining records and archives. Thank you!

I'm kinda confused about the Padparadscha Sapphire. Is it a variety of Sapphire or is it just what a Pink/Salmon/Orange Sapphire is called? Can there be a Pink Sapphire that isn't Padparadscha?

padparadscha is a type of sapphire, it’s just that the peachy colour is rare enough that they gave it a new name. there can totally be just pink or just orange sapphires!
