“Ororo,” she took the hand that was offered and shook it with a smile.  “I help run the house.  If we have a continuous supply of water beneath us, that’s excellent news.”  They had plenty of energy to pump and heat water, the real trick was just having the water itself.
“It’s very nice to meet you, Crystal.  Is sensing water your power, or is there more to your gift?”  She asked with exactly the right tone to ensure she was viewed as a curious new friend, and not someone who spoke out of apprehension.
A quizzical expression crossed Crystal’s face briefly  Ororo. That name sounded familiar but she couldn’t place why.“It’s nice to meet you as well Ororo. Does knowing you mean I get to bypass asking Tony permission to bring it to the surface?” she asked with a wry smile. Granted, she didn’t think the answer would ever be no  to fresh water, but sometimes it was better to beg forgiveness than ask permission.Â
Once again Ororo’s words made Crystal pause.  Certainly powers were a gift - the Inhumans (at least those of the original Attilan) considered them a birth right. “Oh, it’s not just water. It’s the other elements as well.” she replied as she started to walk towards the garden, hoping Ororo would follow.
