Wanda nodded. “And nothing ever will.” she said. She patted his cheek before pulling her hand away. “Now, show me around this place!”
Pietro nodded and said, “I’ll take you outside first before we head around the compound here.”

“Of course.” she laughed. She smiled up at her brother, reaching up to rest a hand on his cheek. “I have missed you as well. I’m sorry I worried you.”
Pietro leaned into her hand and said, “you’re here now, and that is what matters.” He patted her hand and said, “nothing can keep us apart for too long.”

The corner of Crystals mouth quirked up in amusement at Pietro’s quizzical expression. It might have been a long time since she had last seen her ex-husband, but somethings didn’t change. “Of course not. Unlike the rest of my family, I like to help people. Besides that as the Inhuman diplomat, it’s sort of my job. We did swear to offer aid to those who need it.” she responded.
“Where’s Luna?” Pietro asked her, now concerned that his daughter may have been hurt or worse in all of this mess. “You didn’t drag her down into this did you?” Looking at her he frowned and said, “I don’t see what’s funny here.’

Crystal had to admit as she walked around Haven that - Tony Stark had done a pretty damn good job considering the circumstances. Unfortunately it seemed as though he and several other heroes were currently out on a supply run so she would have to wait to speak with him. But at least they had cleared her health wise before they left so she wasn’t cooped anymore.
Her steps had brought her to Haven’s garden. Crystal paused, breathing in the scent of fresh, growing things and wondering if maybe there was something she could do to help here. A movement caught her attention and she turned to see the last person she expected. She would recognize him anywhere. Briefly she debated ignoring him completely, but at this point she had been staring long enough with what she hoped was a neutral expression that she couldn’t pretend to not notice him. “Hello Pietro.”
To say that Crystal being there was a shock was an understatement. He had assumed that she would stay on the moon with Luna. At least that is what he had hoped for. So the fact that she was here, bothered him to say the least. “Crystal,” he said, walking towards her with a quizzical brow. “What are you doing here? I thought you would be at home and avoid this mess.”
[Flashback] Reunited.

“And I’ve missed you.” she said, smiling softly. “I’m sorry I disappeared for so long.”
Wanda chuckled and nodded, “Well, we wouldn’t want you to suffer that.” she said. “Better your intolerable sister than an intolerable stranger.”
“It’s better to have the Devil you know,” Pietro smirked, kissing her cheek he said, “I have missed you, I was worried I had lost you.”
[Flashback] Reunited.

She laughed and shook her head. “I could never kill you, dear brother.” she said. “But I can promise to knock you out and restrain you until I figure out how to turn you back to normal.”
Pietro smirked, kissing her cheek he said, “how I’ve missed you, it’s a shame the apocalypse had to happen in order for us to see one another.” Rubbing her arm he said, “come, there’s a free room next to mine. Let’s claim it for you before Stark puts someone intolerable next to me.”
[Flashback] Reunited.

“I’m really glad you found somewhere safe to be.” she said, smiling up at him. Wanda chuckled and shook her head. “Your cockiness still worries me.” she hummed. “But I supposed you wouldn’t be Pietro without it.”
Pietro smirked and said “I wouldn’t be me if I wasn’t. The moment I start acting humble and giving, you put a bullet in my brain, okay?” He kissed the side of her head and squeezed her hand.
[Flashback] Reunited.

“Quiet a few then.” she murmured. “I take it Stark has taken the lead on all of this though, seeing as it is his tower.”
She smiled at a few people as they passed, recognizing a few faces. “How long have you been here, brother?”
“About a month,” Pietro said, rubbing her arm as they walked. “I do supply runs for them, since zombies can’t bite what they cannot catch.”
[Flashback] Reunited.

“So I’ve seen.” she said, taking his arm. “I supposed he has people working to figure out what started it and if there’s a way to reverse it?”
She glanced around the tower as the walked. “How many people have taken refuge here?”
“A fair few, I would say,” Pietro said as he walked with his sister, “a few of the Avengers, Stark, Barton, Bobbi, a few X-Men and even some of the younger groups. Who is able try to get things worked on.”
[Flashback] Reunited.

Wanda snorted, “Glad to see it hasn’t affected your personality.” she said, shaking her head slightly. She gave her brother a soft smile and leaned up to kiss his cheek. “I love you, my dear brother.”
She pulled back and looked around. “So, want to catch me up on everything that’s been going on here?” she asked.
“Of course not.” Pietro smirked as she kissed his cheek, “and I love you, my dear sister.”
Offering his arm, Pietro walked with her, “well, as you know the world has gone to shit. Stark has made this compound for those of us who have not been infected with the virus yet.”
[Flashback] Reunited.
ascarletwanda:
She felt warmth spread through her as her brother kissed her forehead, a familiar act that she never thought she would feel again. “It still matters.” she murmured, watching her brothers face. “It still matters to me.”
Wanda tilted her head to the side, letting out a soft sigh. “We’ll still find a way to figure this out.” she said. “I’m back to stay, and I don’t want to lose you any time soon, brother, you mean too much to me.”
He smiled gently at her, cupping her face as he pressed her forehead against his own. Closing his eyes, Pietro said, “alright my dear sister. Only because I know you will be relentless until I say yes anyway.”
Pulling away he said, “but, while I have always been one with the looks, I think I look even more attractive, if possible.”
Pietro: Does Vision ever sleep?
Wanda: I think he periodically makes a whirring noise and then shuts down.
She was a really great laser tag partner, too. She’s tiny so she’s allowed to push kids.

Wanda wrapped her arms around her brother, burying her face in his chest. She fought back the tears that gathered in her eyes, emotions swirling. “Far too long.” she agreed. “I’m sorry I didn’t find you sooner.” She had thought about finding Pietro constantly, but her fears always ended up getting in the way.
She looked up at her brother, hand moving to rest on his cheek. “Seems to be different for you.” she said softly. “But that doesn’t make sense. I know it’s been years, but even the world going to hell shouldn’t have made you look like this.”
Pietro put his hand on the back of her head, pressing his lips to the top of her head as he held her, closing his eyes as he did so. It felt good to hold her, made him feel like things were back to normal even for just a second.
He smiled weakly as she moved to touch his cheek, putting his hand on top of the one that rested against his cheek he said, “I know sister, this started before the outbreak. They were still in the process of trying to figure it out before things went bad. But now that everything has gone to hell, my youth seems pretty irrelevant.”
[Flashback] Reunited.

Wanda still wasn’t exactly sure why she decided to go back to New York, at least she wasn’t sure of any reasons she’d willingly admit to. Word of the outbreak had spread all across the country. Some people believed it, some didn’t, but whatever they believed, it had people talking. After all she had done to the people that she once called her friends, her family, she guessed she hoped for the chance for redemption.
It didn’t take her long to get someones attention to let her into the tower, thankfully the person knew who she was. Since arriving, she spent her time roaming where she could within the tower, nodding towards the familiar faces that were running around; too busy to talk.
When a familiar voice called out, she smiled softly, feeling that lonely ache in her heart lift a bit. She turned towards the voice, “Do really expect any different from me, my dear brother?” she said.
Pietro grinned, walking over he pulled his sister into a tight hug, holding onto her with a firm grip almost as if to make sure she was really there. “It’s been too long.” He knew it had to have been at least two and a half, maybe three years since he had seen her last. So much had happened in the meantime it was hard to think what she had been up to in that time.
Pulling her back a bit, he cupped her face in his hands looking at her up and down he smiled gently, “still as beautiful as ever dear sister. You never seem to age do you?”
[Flashback] Reunited.
For the most part, Pietro could not complain about the job that had been given to him by the survivors in the tower. He ran, got what supplies he could, and came back. The nice thing about his powers was that the zombies cannot bite you if they cannot catch you. They let him work alone, knowing anyone going with him would just hold him up, so it had worked to his advantage.
Catching a glimpse of himself in the mirror, he was reminded there was in fact something wrong with him. He had aged, not tremendously, but he looked older than he was. His hair grey, lines in his face, it was shocking to say the least. But as that had started to happen, the world went to shit. And to him it did not see as important as making sure he and the others would eat another day, so he dealt with it.
Walking through the main lobby, Pietro paused as he saw the new face in the lobby. His heart swelled in his chest as he recognized her immediately. Walking towards her, Pietro had always thought Wanda would show up, he had to hold out some sort of hope she would. Smiling gently he called out, “always late to the party, sister?”
