Buck leaned forward, placing his hands flat against the table to deliver his very important details to the group. "We're leaving in an Uber and going back to my place because I really wanna keep kissing Eddie. He's a really good kisser. Like... really good." Hen, Chim, and Ravi's jaws fell to the floor. "Okay, champ. To the Uber!" Eddie said cheerfully, grabbing the back of Buck's shirt and yanking him away before any questions could ensue.

Just a slight grimace on his face as he rolled his shoulder out. “I’m okay,” he said through clenched teeth. He rolled his shoulder again, letting out a loud cry as something didn’t sit right. Eddie surged forward, hands touching Buck’s biceps to stop him from moving. “No, you’re not! What happened?” A guilty look crossed Buck’s face. Eddie raised a brow as their eyes met, waiting for an answer. Buck looked down, then back up to Eddie’s face. “I kinda forgot how difficult it might be to actually take my clothes off and shower without help from a nurse in a hospital.”

eddie dragged his broken and beaten body all around an unfamiliar state, jumped out a window, borrowed a horse, stole a car, held a woman at gunpoint, used that same woman as a shield to hold her ex-husband at gunpoint, ran toward buck and away from cops holding HIM at gunpoint, and then when it was all said and done drove them ten hours back to the safety of LA with that same broken and beaten body. no one can EVER say he doesn't love buck exactly as much as buck loves him

Eddie stared at him helplessly, throwing Buck into the deep end to answer for them, making him grimace. Scrunching his face together in deep thought, Buck replied more like a question with, “Yes?” “No!” Chimney barked. Everyone in the circle jumped with fright. “Weak immune systems?” Eddie tried again, wincing slightly. “Just get in the truck,” Chimney ordered with immense defeat.

Buck smiled at him softly, heart fluttering against his ribcage. “Yeah?” “Yeah. Just little buds of flowers blooming on your skin. It’s pretty.” Eddie’s eyes softened, and his smile grew peculiar. Fond, even. “They’re even like little hearts.” Already Buck knew that Eddie was tracing little hearts on his face, wonder filled in his doe eyes, still glassy from his tiredness, but always beautiful.
