“I’m sorry to worry you Ichinose-san.” Briefly Haruka did wonder if she could be unsafe in this city, after all it seemed very safe to her. It wasn’t something she wondered about for long though since she didn’t have an answer. “I’ve been here for a few weeks now I think? I ran into Jinguji-san and Otoya-kun pretty quickly, but you’re surprisingly hard to find.” If she were a bolder person she would have made a joking question wondering if the idol had been hiding from her.

“I guess I wasn’t really looking in the right places though, I should have just started here.” Because really now that she thought about it an Ichinose-san that wasn’t working in some way just would’t be Ichinose-san.

"You don’t have to apologize.” Tokiya reassured, but his brows furrowed at the amount of time she had been here. Sure, he had the university plus whatever idol work he could get, but it’s not like he had no free time at all. Then again, he was staying in his room a lot and avoiding people for the most part. “All that matters is that we even found each other at all.” Now he was wondering when the others would show up though, now that Nanami was here. He replied, before glancing at what he assumed was a map in her hands. “Were you going somewhere?”

Otoya hummed at the question about the sheep, “It seems to be human run, but there’s a few sheep.” He replied as he led they way. Wait, could it be…? “Tokiya, you’re not afraid of the sheep are you?” The question was totally innocent, the teasing would only come if the older idol confirmed. “They’re really nice though. Well I mean ok that one tried to take your music, but mostly they’re nice. Not to mention super smart.” Honestly Otoya rather liked the sheep.

“As long as i’m not being served food by a sheep.” It would be kind of funny seeing a sheep holding a tray of food on its head, though.

"What? No. That would be ridiculous.” He denied immediately, groaning at the accusation. “I just don’t like them.” That was completely normal, right?

“If you call opening for Lady BahBah, then yes.” Because that wasn’t a ridiculous name at all (and not insulting as a successful idol as himself to be opening). Frustration as evident as the next, it appeared Tokiya was just as done with their work already.

“I assume you were given the same notice? It was nice of them to have a temporary contract available until the rest arrive. However, until they show up..”

“...At least it’s actual work.” He at least tried to be optimistic, but he wouldn’t be happy opening for Lady BahBah either.

“I was, for the most part. I forgot how hard it was to work solo and without a good manager.” There was nothing to convince him that a sheep could actually make a good manager. Nothing.

Is nobody seriously home? Kisumi understands that almost everyone in the hotel building is asleep in the dead of the night but they should have surely heard his rapid knocks on their doors. And yet, here he stands, terrified and alone in the corridor. He’s convinced that his room is haunted. It has to be. Every night, he would hear something hitting the wall and every time he would look to check, there would be nothing there to make such sounds.

And tonight is no different. There’s no way he could spend another evening there. He will have to look for a ghost expert or something first thing tomorrow morning. But for now, he really needs to get some sleep.

“Hello?” He speaks out as he impatiently knocks on the nth door he’s come across to for the night. He couldn’t handle moving on to another door, so he could only hope this one neighbor would be kind enough to at least acknowledge him. “Is anybody home? Come on! I need your help or I’m going to die right here in front of your place! I’m not kidding!”

Who was it that could be knocking on his door at this ungodly hour? This person was lucky that he was even awake. “I’m coming.” He called out to let them know he was going to answer the door.

He let out a sigh, standing up roughly from his desk to go answer the door. He raised an eyebrow at the death threat.... that had to be an exaggeration. He opened the door, staring at the stranger’s bright pink hair curiously for a moment. “What is it?” He merely asked, not bothering to ask for a name or introduce himself.

It wasn’t that Haruka wasn’t paying attention to where she was going, because she was, it was just… The composer had taken her eyes of the path in front of her so that she could dig out the directions in her bag. This city was still so big, and so new to her that with out them she got lost so easily; Haruka wanted to prevent that this time before she stepped out of the broadcast station and onto the street.

So while digging through her bag Haruka turned the corner of the hallway and, sure enough, walked straight into someone with enough force to send her stumbling backwards, though thankfully she stayed on her feet. “I’m so sorr… Oh!” Haruka started to apologize as she actually looked at the person she had run into, only to gasp.

“Ichinose-san!” His name was said a little too loudly in her excitement, causing the composer to squeak before covering her mouth. A quick glance given at the area to see if anyone had been paying attention, before she lowered her hands and smiled, deeming it safe for them to still talk. “I’m so glad to finally see you! Otoya-kun kept saying you were here, but I was starting to think he was just trying to make me feel better.”

Having worked all day he was looking forward to going ‘home’ and actually getting some rest. He turned the corner, heading back on his usual route when he bumped into someone. He steadied himself, planning to issue out an apology of his own before he saw who it was.

“Nanami-san!” His eyes widened in surprise. Right when he had gave up on seeing her for a while, she appeared before him. “I’m glad you’re alright.” He replied, smiling at her excitement. He blinked at her info, trying to recall if Otoya had ever mentioned her arrival. “How long have you been here?”

“It’s fine, it’s fine!” Then again if they had fallen over Otoya would have taken the scolding with out complaint. Otoya left a small pause, still hanging over Tokiya’s shoulders before commenting, “You should let me ride piggy back to my room.” Yeah he was still trying to get out of having to walk on his own. “I’ll return the favor later.”

“Don’t do that again.” He replied, sure that that warning was gonna go right over the other’s head. He blinked, almost considering the offer for a moment.

“Why can’t you just walk like a normal person?” He was sure that whatever favor Otoya had in mind wasn’t gonna be worth it enough to be seen carrying a grown man around.

At last, a day full of meetings - in regards to his developing idol status, auditions and future projects - is over. Now with a free evening, Ren had opportunity to shake off the stress and rid sheep out of his vocabulary.

Just as he was planning to hit up the clubs remembering the roads to take to arrive at the shopping center, blue eyes spotted Tokiya down the hall. Last they spoke, Ren had learned his friend was tagged as an idol as well, so it wasn’t too surprising to see him in these parts.

“Ichi?” Ren approached the other with a small wave. “Have you been here this whole time?”

Quite frankly speaking, he didn’t want to see another sheep for a good week of his life. Having a ‘meeting’ about his idol work for almost a good half a day with a sheep in the same room was a little unnerving. Thankfully they had already decided a lot of things for him when he first arrived, so at least he wasn’t there for as long as he could have been. He let out a sigh as he shut the door, glad that was over with. “Oh.” His head turned to find Ren looking not very surprised. “Yeah, I suppose. Are you here for idol work too?”

There was a moment where the red head pouted, before he grabbed Tokiya’s hand and let the other pull him up to his feet. Though Otoya didn’t stop when he was upright, letting the momentum of pull take him towards his friend with a grin.

“Oh no! Gravity! Increasing!” He exclaimed as he fell towards the other, his arms draping over Tokiya’s shoulders in a lazy almost hug.

He has to keep himself from falling backwards, taking a few steps back to steady himself.

“Oi! That was dangerous!” He chided, despite having a now tight hold on Otoya. At least he hadn’t been pulled down to the ground like he expected.

Regalia wasn’t particularly kind to him and sure as void did not allow him to even get up to high school as a Poor District dweller. However, turning to his side, he seemed to have completely forgotten what he tresspassed into the man’s company for. Soon turning back with a bit of an excited grin. Woah, a building he would’ve literally never been able to enter in his own world – alien edition! “ Mmhhrnm. Fiiine, fiiine. But now that you mentioned it, say. How do you land a spot in there. ” The medieval-dressed man gestured to the large building.

"Of course you don’t.” He replied, crossing his arms. He was just about ready for this conversation to end, but had to hold in a sigh at the other’s inquiry. “It might be different here, but generally you work to get good grades in high school so you can actually go to a decent university.” Although he was curious if you had to pay to get in, or if you could get some kind of scholarship. Or maybe those... sheep took care of it all. Suddenly he felt like he didn’t know too much about the education system here.

Little time had passed since Jiro had first moved to the city, yet he’d already become a regular at a café. Any mention of good coffee, and the man will come running to figure out the science behind it for his home school lab brew. This particular one was a toughy, though…perhaps a human just simply cannot fully understand the workings of magical sheep’s mind. He wasn’t about to give up any time soon, however.

After nearly an hour of sipping and jotting of cryptic notes he’d decided it was time for a break. Jiro sighed dejectedly before scanning the café’s new patrons, when he noticed a familiar face.

“Hey–you’re that Tokiya kid, aren’t you? Your music teacher talked about you…actually, all the music teachers talk about you. You’re pretty famous, huh?”

He was just going to get some water, but he couldn’t go a day without being called out to, could he? He turned to see who had called out to him.

At the sight of a teacher, he bowed his head. He had to be polite, at least. “Ah, I am.” He raised an eyebrow at the mention of him being famous. That was a little déjà vu, certainly. “I didn’t know I was the topic of so many conversations.” he remarked, although he honestly wasn’t too surprised that they all talked about him. He wasn’t an idol for nothing. “I’m assuming they said good things about me?”

This was a little pathetic. How long had he even been lying here? “Don’t be so lazy. Come on, get up.” He held out his hand to help Otoya out. Carrying was definitely not happening though, sorry.

Otoya wasn’t surprised that no one had come to ask his friend, sometimes the other was accidentally intimidating. Though at the question about if Otoya was asking Tokiya to dance the red head actually thought about it a moment. “Maybe if they put something modern back on, but anything slow would be a mess and you know it.” Was the reply he gave with a laugh, having imagined the two of them trying to waltz or something.

“Uh-huh.” He rolled his eyes, a small smirk on his face that hinted at sarcasm.

Dancing by each other’s sides was one thing, but couple dancing? That definitely would not end well. “We’d definitely stand out too much.” He joked, although he had a feeling they would stand out no matter what dance they do. That basically was their job.

He wasn’t planning to go originally? That was a bit of a surprise, but they were here now so they might as well have fun! “Right? I’m kind of surprised.” Otoya smiled proudly at the compliment. Honestly it felt kind of nostalgic to be wearing this costume again, but in a good way obviously. “You look good too you know, but this kind of clothes always suits you well.” Tokiya was just one of those guys that looked better dressed up. Well, not that he didn’t look good usually, but he was always sharper dressed up in a suit. Unlike Otoya who always thought he looked silly and felt like his necktie was going to choke him to death.

“Have you danced with anyone at all?” Actually he was pretty sure the other hadn’t, because he would have noticed Tokiya on the dance floor, but still he had to ask. “I’m actually pretty glad they taught us back in school, I’ve just been asking the girls that don’t have dates. Just standing around seems pretty boring after all.”

“Really? I was starting to think I should be wearing something fancier.”

“Hm? No, I haven’t. I haven’t bothered to ask anyone and no ones come to me for a dance either.” He explained, although maybe now he was wondering if that was weird of him? .... Eh, whatever. “Why? Do you want to dance with me now?” He had to hold in a laugh at the thought of doing something like the classic waltz with Otoya.

“Dancing and conversing..” they repeated, a bit curious, tapping their chin. “I see.” It sounded fun, at least. But the matter of dancing was… “I must admit, I don’t think I’m quite familiar with this style of dancing,” they continued, though they chuckled goodnaturedly. “Times have changed greatly. Things were different in Uruk.”

“Then again, much of those parties were held in honor of the king. That doesn’t appear to be so with this party.” Certainly, there was a golden king sulking somewhere at that fact. “Though this city doesn’t have a king, does it?”

“Uruk?” He blinked, raising an eyebrow. Was that a country in Europe he had never heard of or something? “Mm, typically these are just held for fun now.” He had been to one or two serious galas like this, but he had to admit they were a bit rare now a days.

“I... don’t know honestly. You’d have to ask one of those sheep.” He was actually a little curious about that, now.

The drinks available weren’t anything she was used to seeing, not from where she was, so, though she would never admit out loud, Azula was the tiniest bit overwhelmed. She wasn’t picky by any means, but when nothing was familiar it posed certain problems. She knew very well that there was a line starting up behind her, but she didn’t care. They would just have to wait for the princess to finish deciding.

“What did you just say to me?” Azula felt herself flare up, spitting venom and spinning on the spot to see who had the audacity to ‘oi’ her. Her reaction was strange, because while it was familiar face, the face infuriated her even more. “Oh, it’s you, from the tea shop,” she said, unimpressed, “Try having patience, perhaps…” Then after a beat she added, “You don’t clean up very well.”

“I was trying to get your attention.” He simply said, wondering why he had to explain himself to her. How else was he supposed to get her to notice him? He raised an eyebrow at her “creative” insult. “I didn’t think it mattered that much.” He certainly hadn’t tried as much as the other people here to look good for the event.
