Reintroducing an old ass character Her name is Allina or Ali. She works at a candy shop and hopes to some day have her own shop. Her favourite kind of sweets are lollipops and other small hard candies that you can suck on in your mouth. She’s pretty peppy and outgoing. She loves dressing up in flashy outfits that are inspired by pop-idols, lollita, and harajuku styles. She currently lives with her older cousin, Teala, after her parents disowned her when she discovered she was a lesbian and began a relationship with her girlfriend, Meghan.

Years ago when I first created her I was still a young teen and in church and our old church had fallen apart under a new leadership. My mom began going to some house church thing and the people there were...a bit harsh. They started criticizing the things I drew. I have a character named Isho who was a darigan aisha so I had always drawn his human version with the bat wings darigans typically have, I also have a character named Kee who had been an fairie aisha so she had butterfly wings. Well because of these people I completely changed Isho and his family’s designs to have black feathered wings instead because according to them I was drawing evil things because they were “demons and fairies” I never changed Kee though cause fuck that how are butterfly wings ~evil~

So I ended up telling my friends that I wasn’t comfortable having a lesbian character cause of my ‘beliefs’ (really I just didnt want this stupid church coming after my art even more) and originally just gave Ali ~amnesia that magically made her straight~ but in my heart I always knew she wasn’t. So I just stopped using her at all and even tried to delete her existance. I deleted all my art of her off the internet....but I managed to find my old drawings of her on some old back up discs!

Birthday drawing for my bff, Cori of her character, Milkshake the dragon dog. I coloured it with copics and didn't have time to bother setting up my scanner before giving it to her, so I just took a pic with my camera and touched up the colours a bit on the computer....and covered up some of the sloppy outside the lines colours I did 8D;;; -what happenes when I colour things at 6am-

I think I did a pretty decent job while being sleepless though so yay 8D I need to do copics art more often, it's fun |D
