As technology continues to evolve with drastic pace, techies are considering job offers from startups to learn new skills and find better growth opportunities. Around 67 percent of TechGig survey respondents said that 'Growth' and ' Opportunity to Learn New Skills' are the major factors to join Startups. In the last few years, almost every other sector in India has seen innovation through startups. These new-age companies have attracted professionals from most sectors, including IT. In the recently held campus placements, leading Internet companies like Uber India was the top preferred choice by IIT Delhi students. The startup company offered an annual package of Rs 36.6 lakh for a software developer's position. (Source ToI, Nov 4th 2017).
