Thank you again for speaking today. I had several long time members tell me that was the best speaker and presentation that they can remember.

Our entire focus is on providing service to our community, so we love it when we come across another person or group that is similarly focused. Devin's passion for his message was inspiring to us in just that way. He reminded us that we really are capable of accomplishing all the good things that we intend, and that making an unwavering commitment to do the right thing can be the difference between watching a project fail or succeed.

Excellent job :) Best speech of the day!

Corporate Social Responsibility Speaker
Devin’s keynote presentation “Adding Profit by Adding Purpose,” based on his book by the same name, is both inspirational and informative.
You will see that you can make a profit by adding purpose to your organization
You will learn how to authentically choose a cause to engage your customers and employees
You will discover several ways you can share the costs of purpose programs with your customers
Devin Thorpe was a finance guy until he realized life wasn’t all about the money. As a new-media journalist and founder of the Your Mark on the World Center, Devin has established himself as a champion of social good. As a Forbes contributor, with 400 bylines and over one million unique visitors, he has become a recognized name in the social impact arena. His YouTube show, featuring over 700 celebrities, CEOs, billionaires, entrepreneurs and others who are out to change the world, has been viewed over 200,000 times, giving him a recognizable face as well.
Watch his speech at the United Nations. This keynote is called “Adding Profit by Adding Purpose.”
Previously, Devin served as the CFO of the third largest company on the 2009 Inc. 500 list. He also founded and led an NASD-registered investment bank. After completing a degree in finance at the University of Utah, he earned an MBA from Cornell University.
Having lived on three continents and visited over 30 countries on six continents and with guests from around the world on his show, Devin brings a global perspective to audiences around the world–from the UN to Nepal–empowering them to do more good and make their mark on the world. These lessons also enable them to change their personal lives and to drive positive change within their organizations. His books provide roadmaps to audiences on how to use money for good. His books have been read nearly 1 million times!
His leadership programs include:
Adding Profit by Adding Purpose
Building a Movement to Change the World
Crowdfunding for Social Good
Today, Devin channels the idealism of his youth, volunteering whenever and wherever he can, with the loving support of his wife, Gail. Their son, Dayton, is a PhD candidate in Physics at UC Berkeley (and Devin rarely misses the opportunity to mention that).
Devin Thorpe has committed his efforts to the power of change. As a talented speaker, Devin presents from the space of social responsibility and cause. He has deep rooted conviction and passion for ridding the world of maladies though a united effort. Devin presents with validity and resourcefulness a pathway to that end. I recommend him. His preparation makes him great among speakers.
~Jeff Sherman, CEO
As a speaker, Devin Thorpe is a skilled presenter, delivering expert content in an appealing manner that maintains audience engagement. Poignant, powerful information is intermingled with an approachable personality that simultaneously commands respect. His delivery is intellectual yet humble, thereby allowing audiences of all backgrounds to be enriched and motivated to action.
As a human, Devin is even more remarkable. A genuine do-gooder, Devin's rich life experiences and under-dog advocacy endear him to others who are fortunate to call him a friend and/or mentor. I strongly recommend Devin as a speaker for any organization or group.
~Jessica Egbert, Utah Women in Higher Education Network
Devin is a superior national columnist as a contributor for Forbes.com, and a highly sought-after and influential speaker (His presentation last week on the fight to cure polio at the THRIVE conference in St. George moved most everyone in the audience to action, and many of us were moved to tears).
