Giving the screen a squint of her own, almost as if she was blaming the phone for her unfortunate and sad sense of direction, she huffed quietly. âI didnât knowâ If my feet werenât on the ground Iâm sure I wouldnât be able to tell up from down.â She took the phone, stuffing it back into the pocket on the back of her jeans before looking up to meet his eyes. âWill you really? Iâ Thank you.âÂ
She bit the inside of her lip, brushing hair from her face behind her ear. âWhat school is it? That you go to. Iâve never been around that area, I didnât even know this place was near a school.â Giving it a secondâs thought, she tilted her head. âThough I didnât really know where it was in the first place, so that was kind of dumb of me to say. Just forget I mentioned that part.âÂ
He tilts his head slightly downwards, his hands shuffling in the pockets of his jacket. Then he starts to ponder how humanely possible it is for someone to be so directionally incapable. It was kind of adorable in a sense, he admits, that the girl was absolutely cluelessâbut he decides against voicing it out as he gives the one a faint grin instead.Â
âNot tryna brag or anythinâ, butâIâm pretty smart.â He shrugs, eyeing the other mischievously before evoking a light laughter. His intention was to lighten up the conventionally stiff ambience between a newly acquaintance, but he decides against letting it abruptly sink in. âIâm just playin.â He confirms his vague joke in a small voice, clearing his throat before pointing at the north. âNear Seoul University is where itâs at. Maybe about a 15 minute walkâunless you wanna catch a cab or a subway.â
