“Impossible.”
“It’s very possible actually. Not all things get better with age it seems.”
“It’s okay Cassia, you have a duty to Camp Half-blood, to Artemis, I respect that.”
“I have a duty to you as well. I promised Nemesis. And I will be around more.”
“Aren’t I?” Matt laughed, “You know you love my jokes, sis.”
“You know I think they’ve gotten worse.”
Christian smiled. “Y’know, you’re always welcome to stay at Charlotte’s and mine if you ever want. I would love for the kids to know more of their Aunt Cassia. Though I would have to explain why their Aunt doesn’t look older than me. Granted Charlotte and I still have time to plan the whole demigod talk and quarter god talk.”
“Next time I’m free, I’ll visit. I’m sorry I haven’t been around for so long,” She glanced down at the infant in her arms again, “I wanna be around.”
“What’ve you been doing the past few years? I hope it’s interesting.”
“Same thing you’ve been doing, Clara, you know that,” Cassia replied, “Except I think I’ve been more involved as an aunt.”
“Of course,” Christian said before handing his youngest daughter to Cassia.
Cassia couldn’t stop the grin from spreading across her face as the infant was passed to her, “Hey there...” She whispered, “I’m your Aunt Cassia. You’ve got the best parents in the world, did you know that?” She acted as though she and the baby were the only two people in the world, as if Christian couldn’t hear a word she was saying, “You’re going to grow up great,” She added, still whispering.
Christian smiled. “Of course I’d name my daughter after you, Charlotte agreed too. You mean so much to me and this one put up a great fight when she was born,” he replied. “I just, I hoped that maybe one day she’d be inspired by her namesake to grow to be as strong and amazing as my older sister.”
“Oh gods,” Cassia mumbled as she quickly wiped the escaping tears before they could fall too far. She would be a blubbering mess in a second if she didn’t pull herself together, “Thank you, Christian,” None of her siblings ever had ended up liking her all that much and now here he was, naming his child after her. It was almost too much, “Can I...?” She held out her arms, gesturing that she wanted to hold her.

It was almost too much, “Can I...?” She held out her arms, gesturing that she wanted to hold her.
Christian smiled when he saw his sister, to know surprise she hadn’t changed a bit, besides maybe the length of her hair. “Well, Cassia, meet Cassia Elizabeth O’Hare, she’s mine and Charlotte’s youngest.”
Cassia gaped for a moment, “You...” She had to pause to collect her thoughts and try and stop tears from forming in her eyes, “You named your daughter after me?” She dropped her gaze to the infant, “Why?” She asked curiously, completely shocked by the idea, “I mean, I’m honored but I didn’t think you’d... wow,” She spoke breathlessly.
Christian is sitting under the tree he used to climb all the time when he lived at Camp. His legs are bent and his youngest daughter, Cassia, is sat on his stomach, laying against his legs as he lets her play around with his fingers. “Yeah, this is where Daddy went all the time when he lived here,” he said to his daughter.
Cassia was sitting up in a tree. One where she and Christian had had many heart to heart conversations and where she knew he spent a lot of time. She knew that he’d show up eventually since many people were returning. She smiled when she saw him sit underneath the tree with a baby. She had heard he’d had two more kids since Bailey and was looking forward to meeting them. After a few minutes of just watching him, she jumped down and smiled as she sat next to him, “Who’s this precious one?” She asked.
“Well haven’t you aged well?”
“You’re so funny, Matthew.”
IN TEN YEARS >> CASSIA ROSI
Connor blinked. “To see me?” He asked before taking a seat beside her as his eyes softened and his walls fell. She was always easy to open up too and he trusted the huntresses. Connor sighed. “I went to Greece. To.. Deal with…. him.”
“Can a person not stop by to see a friend when they’ve been away?” Cassia asked with a raised eyebrow and an amused expression, “And how’d it go?”
“Only two hours? Forget I spoke, you need some rest, dear. Is there anything I can get you?”
“All you need to know is the mission was a success anyway,” Cassia muttered before shaking her head, “I’ve got a proper bed. That’s all I need.”
i’m here for you…

Connor knew better than to nudge the sleeping woman and he definitely knew better than to wake her but she was on his bunk. “Hey, Cassia.” he whispered. “You okay?”
“Huh?” Cassia opened her eyes, “Oh, uh sorry. I didn’t mean to fall asleep. I was here to see you,” She sat up, “I heard you were away for a while? What’s that all about?”
Gabby nodded slightly and unsure before trying to follow Cassia’s instuctions but her moves were choppy and unsure, it was very apparent Gabriella was not accustomed to using a sword.
“You need to be more confident with yourself. I can see that you’re capable of doing this, you’re just not sure about yourself.”
