fic commissions

Hello!! Initially I neglected to crosspost over to tumblr but I am currently doing fic commissions to raise money for Palestinian relief through the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, and my donation page is open and can be found here: https://pcrf1.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/pcrf1/campaign.jsp?campaign=2532&fundraiser=706758&

At the moment we have raised $1400 which is absolutely incredible - at $1500, I am going to open another 1000 word commission slot - if we can get $1750, I’ll open another 2000 word slot, and another 5000 word slot if we can all come together and get to $2000 !!!

I am also working on another Ninety One Whiskey timestamp according to the amount of money raised! (Technically, I’ve reached the target donation already, but it would mean a lot if you would continue to donate!) beep beep hey guys! i know that I am a long time absentee of The Internet but this is komodobits and some of you may have seen info making the rounds on twitter about the rally for palestine raffle!!!

we're in the final few days of the raffle through which an ASTONISHING $14000 dollars has already been raised, which is is such an incredible accomplishment. in the last days we're trying to max out the impact we can make via donations as well as action in terms of contacting MPs/representatives to demand change!!

as a bonus incentive for donating, there are approximately twenty incredible multifandom artists and writers to bid on to create you something - and I am one of them!!!

I know a lot of people have messaged me in the past like "hey I wish you would do another ninety one whiskey timestamp!" or "hey I wish you would write something for my pairing!" or "hey I wish you would resolve some questions I have about your disturbing horrorfics!" in which case NOW IS YOUR TIME. you can make that dream a reality and help palestinians currently suffering in the gaza strip at the same time!

Having faced issues over privacy in the past, I would like to limit the extent to which my writing is distributed beyond my control. I am, as ever, deeply flattered by how much love and support my writing has received, but I want to keep a low profile and as such I do not want additional copies or adaptations of my writing existing beyond AO3.

Hi everyone.

The first thing I want to say is thank you for everything. For your love and support of everything I have written in the eight years I’ve been a part of this fandom, for your guidance and feedback and encouragement when I was first figuring out how to put pen to paper, for the sense of a community that has always made a space for me when I couldn’t find a space anywhere else. For caring, on a day to day basis, about my personal happiness and well-being. I can’t overstate enough the extent to which this blog and the people I’ve met through it have indelibly impacted my life.

The second thing I want to say is I’m sorry. I’ve left WIPs that aren’t going to be finished and there are questions and messages that aren’t going to be answered. The game plan was never scorched earth—I was going to one day haul myself out of my depressive funk and come back to my old self. I figure I owe people an explanation of why that’s not going to happen before I vanish, though.

I have tried very hard to keep my fandom life and my IRL life separate for the most part, and in the end it didn’t work. I left a big messy trail connecting who I am 9-5 to who I am when Dean and Cas are in love, which left me open to getting threatened. So. Be careful who you tell about your secret life on the internet, folks.

I know I haven’t been all that present here for the last two years, so my leaving probably won’t have any impact, but I wanted to leave a message anyway. My stories on AO3 are going to stay put, but nothing new is going to happen there. I guess it’s time to be a grown-up now!

Thank you again to everyone who has read my writing over the years, or said kind words of encouragement when I was at rock bottom, or made me laugh. I’m incalculably grateful for my time in fandom and I’m going to remember this forever.
