Not directly related, but I feel as if my interests were before their time. I have done fanfiction, mood boards, etc. in my youth (I'm 36). The difference really is that it is more popular or accepted now. I used to come up with whole worlds and storylines, crossovers, AUs. I mean, my creative juices were really flowing freely. But I had to hide it. There were no fanfic sites or groups to foster my creativity and so it was easier to abandon them once I grew up.
