Greta Gerwig is the rare actor that clearly has depth and breadth as a person and can convey it authentically on camera. She's just SO GOOD. She's so good that I wasn't struck by the magnitude of her performance until the movie was over. Because I was watching Frances's story. This movie might not be the best film ever made, and her performance might not be an award-winning turn, but she's a true original, which scores epic points in my book.
