Avant-garde cellist and performance artist Charlotte Moorman being arrested for "indecent exposure" during a performance of Opera Sextronique with Nam-June Paik, NYC, 1967.
A native of Arkansas, Moorman was known for performing nude or semi-nude with her body only loosely obstructed by stage props or her cello. This caused a bit of a stink with conservative society in the 1950s and 1960s, as one can imagine.
