“Whoa, this place is expensive. I’m sure this is the place, Pikachu. I’m not sure about the fancy dress code here.”
Confident as he is, Ash was already dressed in his simple Kanto Trainer outfit. In Talia’s chatroom, he met some new people. They seemed nice, the Rotomdex was right about this. Funnily, he has a blast using the chat room and he was surprised that people hasn’t heard much of Pokemon.
Not that the yellow mouse minded, he also used the phone sometimes. Ash stared at his Pokemon. “We’d be meeting some people from Talia today in this 1st class restaurant, if that’s okay with you?”
The Pokemon doesn’t mind it, he has been curious himself. Again, Ash has an aura that can be able to make him meet new friends. Reaching the said restaurant with ease after he said Jumin’s name for the guest list, Ash managed to spy the said people probably waiting for him or something. He assumed they must be ‘CatMacaron’ and ‘JH’ in Talia’s chat.
Waving at them in a friendly manner, Ash grinned.
“Hello! Sorry I’m here, took me a while to find you guys! Are any of you ‘CatMacaron’ or ‘JH’ in the chat? I’m the user behind ‘ashishere’, and this is Pikachu. My Pokemon partner.”
It was Jumin who arrived first in The Heart of Talia; it was only a few minutes away from the apartment he was residing in Hilltops and it was convenient. He only had to change his usual black overalls into something lighter to make a nice impression since he got no time to pick up casual clothes after work; he just had to make do with what he had to arrive as early as possible to the restaurant. The transaction was fast enough that he found himself drinking wine to pass the time as soon as his companions find their way to their table. The first to arrive was Yukari-shi and he gave her a respectful bow before the waiter pulled the chair for her to sit.
“ I don’t mind, I just arrived here a few minutes before you did, ” he assured the woman, placing down his glass to be refilled with another round. He preferred wine over water after all. Now, the only one left is ashishere and by the looks of it, there was someone approached their table, casually greeting with an energy that was out of the place of the diner; youthful, positive, warm unlike cold, cynical and calculating vibes adults tend to show off during meetings like this. He was even surprised at himself for initiating a dinner party for people he just met ( Yukari-shi was an exception though; she seemed to be always an exception ).
Jumin gestured for the kid to sit while gauging how old he is by his looks. He figured he should be going to high school soon.
“ I’m JH. Jumin Han. Good to see you. ” An eyebrow raised towards the yellow thing the kid possessed in his arms, curiosity spiked since it was something he had never seen before. It wasn’t a cat, such a shame. “ Your… partner ? ” There was disappointment in his tone covered within the question; upset that he was proved wrong upon seeing the child’s partner. After all, he was too young to date.
She bowed as well before being sat down when the waiter pulled her chair back. She ordered a glass of wine as well. Once in a while should she allow herself to enjoy such drink in an outing like this. Not to mention, it is needed from the finals she’s enduring. It’s a surprise she managed to find time to be around Jumin and of course the new comer; Ash.
❝That’s good. I wouldn’t want you to wait to long.❞ She smiled, setting her wallet down on her lap and she looked up. So this must be Ash. It didn’t take long for her to put two and two together. He was the only one they’re waiting for and he did come up to the table with a lot of energy. Well not as much as compared to a friend of her’s.
She bowed from where she sat and looks up at him, greeting both him and his partner a smile ❝A pleasure. I’m Yukari Kotozume.❞ She glances over to Jumin and saw the disappointment, it was even in his voice. She looks away, giggling to herself. She was right. ❝A cute friend you have.❞ She reaches over and scratches under Pikachu’s chin.
