"Curiosity' at The Crypt Gallery is a bafflingly enchanting collection, owing in no small part to its surroundings and Cave's use of bright colours that certainly add life to the pieces. Running only briefly until 20th October, (but also part of the upcoming Bloomsbury Festival) I would recommend the exhibition also to those who appreciate architecture, as New St Pancras' Church is, of course, a work of art in itself."

The private view/press evening was a roaring success last week.  Lots of happy people looking at the painting, sculpture and installation work by American artist Julie Caves (and guest artist H Locke) with wonderfully appropriate music from Auntie Maureen.

We were lucky enough to be invited to the artist's studio this week, to spy on work in progress. A series of small panels using egg termpera are under way. The pictures above show pigments being prepared.
