Sammy Keyes Re-read

Hey everyone, I have decided to start the journey of re-reading the SK books from Hotel Thief to Kiss Goodbye.

Currently on chapter 5 of Hotel Thief and I feel so much nostalgia already. I am planning on posting more often (as often as I can lol) as I go through each book. Let me know if you have any suggestions for posts!

Throwback to the time of Wendelin’s 24 days of Giveaways in December of 2021.

Each day of the month she selected one person to get a signed copy of her book. Along with the book it included a bookmark, a sweet message, and a sheet listing all of her books. It also had a few chocolates 😋 (not pictured here lol).

Wendelin will always be my favorite author because of how involved she is with all of us sammiacs. I am so grateful for these giveaways and the book tours.

It’s Valentine’s Day 💖 so I thought I’d share a throwback drawing I did in middle school when I lived and breathed Sammy Keyes (and of course Cammy <3 ) I was like 13 when I drew this and my drawing skills have definitely not improved since 😂 but I thought it was cute! Enjoy! :)

He groans and his hands start twitching, and I can tell - he’s coming around. So I put his hands in the slots of the toaster and push down the lever. Then I pull the end of the cord to the wall socket and say, “Mr. Bell, if you make one little move that I don’t like I’m going to have to toast you.” He starts to roll over, so I plug the thing in. Just for a second.

Sammy Keyes and the Skeleton Man

This was one of the many scenes in the SK series that I still have vivid memories about. Like Sammy just literally stuck this guy’s hands in a toaster and then proceeded to plug it in. She’s all like “just for a second”, but still at 13 years old reading this that was a next level scare tactic Sammy was pulling and it freaked me out. Moral of the story: Don’t mess with Sammy Keyes
