Wilbur and y/n were the best of friends, they both would always be right there with each other never leaving the others side. Wilbur and y/n were always there for each other no matter what.
The thing is they both liked each other, Wilbur thought y/n doesn't like him so did y/n
Wilbur just wanted to hold y/n in his arms not wanting to let go of her.
But there was something that was holding him back from doing that, Wilbur is a ghost and he can't hold y/n like he wants to since he would just go right through her
But today was the day that everything was going to change for Y/n and Wilbur
Me and y/n were walking around manburg with Friend in tow. Friend nuzzles y/n's leg, she giggles and starts petting friend.
Y/n sits on the ground with Friend across her lap 'So cute' "What was that?" I shake my head bringing myself back to reality "Huh what! oh uh n-nothing" she chuckles "weirdo" y/n says with a smile that can brighten up anyone's day, especially mine.
"So what do you want to do now n/n," I asked her while sitting next to her. "Hmm"
Y/n ponders, I smile at her, her thinking face is so adorable. Y/n starts murmuring about what we should do, I chuckle. I look down slightly if only I could be with her
"I can help you be with her, you can be with her forever"
I whip my head around what was that? it almost sounded like Dream, Y/n didn't seem to take notice so I didn't say anything
"You want to be with her don't you?"
I look over at y/n, with all my heart I will do anything to be with her.
Then everything turned black
'Gasp' Wilbur had woken up from the eternal darkness "Where am I?" he takes a look at his surroundings and notices something was missing "Y/n!, Friend?" he gets up frantically and starts looking around
"They're fine Wil" he looks around himself "Who said that?" A cloud of smoke comes into view and then comes out.
"Dream?" "Hello, Wilbur" Dream says coming through the smoke with a potion bottle in hand. "Why am I here?" "Remember how you want to be with y/n and never want to leave her side. Well I want to give a little hand so if your drink this you can be human again" Dreams says lifting the potion towards Wilbur
He was about to take the elixir but stopped "Why are you helping me, I lost all of my canon lives" "I want to give you a second chance at life, and so you can be with y/n"
Wil looks back at the potion then grabs it gently from Dream, Wilbur takes off the cork with a satisfying pop. He drinks the potion and looks back to Dream "Thank you" Dream nods his head.
Everything starts to fade
I open my eyes wide open and look around I'm back in the same spot where me and y/n were at.
I rush up off the ground "wait a minute...I'm..not floating?" I look down and see that my feet weren't transparent and I wasn't floating above the ground, I lift my shirt a little and notice the tear against my chest that was blue is now a coagulated tone.
I lift my hands they weren't transparent either, I beam with a smile on my face then laugh in shock "I can't believe it, I'm human again...I'm human again!" I jump up and down "Y/n look I'm Hu-... Y/n?...Friend?"
I look around frantically "Y/n!" I start to run around manburg looking for the both of them
*-After aimlessly looking for Y/n and friend Wilbur couldn't find them but he then remembered a place he hasn't look yet-*
"The tree" I run as fast as I could hoping for the both of them are there.
After a couple of minutes, I finally reach the tree. I stopped when I see y/n looking out to Manburg
Friend nuzzles his head into her leg and she pets his head. "Where could he be bud"
When Wilbur sees y/n he runs up to her and starts hugging her from behind for the first time ever. Y/n turns around to face him "Wilbur? b-but how!" "I was given a second chance at life, thanks to Dream."
"But what about L'manburg will you be fighting for it again?" "That was my unfinished symphony until you came along y/n...You took that broken Melody away from me, And you...You gave me a new one."
Wilbur picks you up and starts spinning you around before pulling you his embrace holding you tight not wanting to let go "Your my new symphony y/n, And I couldn't ask for anything else."
"I won't let anything happen to you"
