Saturday stuff!

I have a stye on the inside of my lower eyelid which is just as uncomfortable as it sounds. No eye makeup or contact lenses for the foreseeable... I've been trying to warm compress it but given it's inside my eye I'm not sure it's really doing anything.

I'm driving up to my mum's today, staying for the whole weekend, and then taking her car to the dealership on Monday because she "can't" (won't) do it herself. It's a total waste of a day off work but I'm just going to suck it up I guess.

My birthday is next weekend but I suspect we're going to be busy with house viewings (on our house). Currently we have one at 10am on Saturday but it sounds like they're trying to line up a few others. I'm hoping it all gets sorted quickly but we're kind of in the lap of the gods now. We're going to look at the project house again on Tuesday, I think Boyfriend's already moved in in his head...

My head is absolutely cabbaged.

I've utterly lost the will today. I'm so tired.

We saw a house on Wednesday... It's a ton of work and not really the layout we wanted, but is very pretty and a great location, just around the corner from where we are now. Boyfriend thinks it's great, I'm on the fence about the sheer amount of work. We're going for another look on Tuesday. Our house is now on the market, and I'm hoping we'll get a reasonably quick sale so we at least will know where we are with that.

All the uncertainty is ramping up my stress levels, and now we're looking at another project house! Honestly I don't know why I do this to myself!

Spoke too soon. Left an hour late because I got sidetracked...

I've hit the wall. I knew it would happen.

It's been a really really intense week and a half, and I've now hit that total lack of motivation that comes from being on overdrive for too long.

I'm so tired.

I feel like I've done nothing of any use today, and it's only just gone 2.30 but I'm totally over doing anything else. I'm wiped out.

My pregnant friend is now in hospital. She's had an absolutely awful pregnancy and I don't want to go into details here that aren't mine to share but even though she's there under obs and not in intensive care or anything, I have this absolute awful anxiety that she's going to die. I think everything that went down with E has made me sensitive to this stuff and on top of everything else I'm just not dealing with it very well.

There's a fucking huge house spider living in our bedroom. I keep spotting it and not being fast enough to catch it. Boyfriend has not seen it but will absolutely flip out if he does - I've told him it's enormous but I don't think he believes me.

I don't really mind spiders but even I'm a little bit freaked out by this one, I've genuinely never seen a house spider so big.

Woke up thinking it was a weekday and then realised it's Saturday, which was honestly a great start to the weekend.

Unfortunately I am going to be spending my weekend tidying the house for photos on Tuesday but at least I'm not dealing with drama.

Can't tell you how bloody tired I am.

Ready for this week to be done.

It was even worse than I thought it was going to be. Everything is on fire.

I know I just have the extra special Sunday scaries because I've had a week off but I really can't explain the level of dread I'm feeling about work tomorrow. From what I've heard I am assuming it's been a complete shit show and I just do not want to deal with it.

We've had a whole week of tackling the house and garden and it's still an absolute fucking state. I've filled almost 5 wheelie bins, 12 heavy duty bin bags, and still have more to go. This is all just garden waste.

We're about to go on tip trip #2 and I suspect there will be a 3rd next week.

I'm not sleeping well, and my period is not being kind to me. To say I am fed up and want another week off to just do nothing is an understatement.

And now I'm too hot and I can't sleep.

I don't feel great. Finally got my period which has helped somewhat with the feeling like I'm going to burst into tears at any moment but now I'm sore and tetchy. And I still have a shit ton to do in the garden, and at least one tip run, and it's forecast to be ridiculously hot.

Plus I'm stressed out about what I'm going into at work. My boss has been off sick while I've been on leave, I've no idea if he'll be back next week or what state things will be in - I don't know for definite but I suspect he's off with stress. It's not a nice environment at the moment and I'm worrying about it more than I probably should.

I've also got myself into a bit of a panic about selling the house. Even though I know we need to do it, I've got myself into a bit of a tizz. Stupid brain being stupid.

Well, nine years to the day since we bought it, we've just agreed an agent to put the house on the market.
