just needed a breather...

It’s 2025, and once again, I’m feeling overstimulated by the sheer amount of information I consumed today. Every day, it’s the same. So I decided to try this exercise: “What made me feel good back in the day?”

Two things immediately come to mind: this project I let die in 2018, and Tumblr.

I just wanted to scroll through something that didn’t have comments, or endless interactions, or ego-boosting posts.

Tumblr was a true mind silencer. Everywhere else on the internet feels like a constant noise, but here, you could just relax and connect with what you genuinely loved. No opinions, no pressure—just you and your corner of the internet, where the algorithm shows you an infinite moodboard.

I don’t know… I just needed a breather.
