Been awhile, ain’t it? I’ve gotten so immersed into college and the stress was getting to me. Hell, even my body told me “Hey, you’re too stressed, so here’s this issue.” I haven’t touched Kuro Cardinal in a long time. This is mainly because I grew weary of writing it and the direction I had it going in. That and I had serious writer’s block. I’ve been posting here with tidbits and what I imagine from the story just to try and keep myself engaged with it, not because I found it funny or fun. Like, I only wrote it because I felt inspired by someone else. I want this to feel like my thing. I’ve been planning on rewriting the entire thing, change the plot a little (maybe a lot), give it more meaning. So, to those that read this and like the Kuro Cardinal AU, it’ll be a long time for when you’ll see another chapter of it, but you’ll see a revamped version of it at some point.

I’m reading a Webtoons and I felt some Julerose energy surge from a particular scene.

Rose: *intensely staring at Juleka*

Juleka: “Oh boy, here we go. Fu-“

Rose: “You look like you can steal a car. Can you help me steal a car?”

Juleka: “… w-wh”

Rose: “Chloé’s being a prick again, so I need her limo in the Seine.”

Juleka: “I…”

Rose: *gives the most wholesome and innocent look*

Juleka: *gay confusion*

A few years later

Rose: “And that’s how I met your mother.”

Juleka: “I’m still confused.”

The hardest part of making my own akuma is trying to figure out the lucky charm and how to defeat it. Like, I can’t just keep giving Juleka a shovel so she can beat the shit out of them!

Akumas that I think might not occur or would massively change in Kuro Cardinal AU because why not and I also should probably write this down.

- Copycat: I’ve already explained why

- Vanisher: It’ll still happen, but the context will be extremely different.

- Antibug: It’s the akuma following Vanisher (also they did Sabrina dirty on that one). I already have an idea for it that’ll still be Antibug but yeah…

- Princess Fragrance: WOO! This will be a big chapter with 2 parts in the future from what I have planned.

- Reflekta, Reflekdoll, Riposte, Oni-Chan, Lies, etc. for… obvious reasons

- Volpina: Mainly due to Marinette not interfering with Lila’s advances towards Adrien and Juleka not bothering to expose her lies. I want it to happen, I’m still trying to figure out the details, but it’s another 2 part thing. Like, I don’t want it to be too similar to another AU I read but I have that as a placeholder while I work details

- Santa Claws: how to insert Juleka and Kagami into this?

- Cat Blanc/Shiro Neko: WOOO! SUFFERING AND EMOTIONAL TRAUMA!

- Truth and Lies: I already have a lot of this planned out. The major changes will definitely be from lies since it’s not Kagami being akumatized.

- The Collector: Not Gabriel akumatizing himself and not with the book thing. Not happening.

- Gorizilla: It’ll happen, at some point. I don’t know how.

- Frightningale: Different context. No Chloé being a brat or Juleka and Kagami being casted as the characters.

- Queen Wasp: So, Chloé does get the bee miraculous, but the context is VERY different. First, her identity isn’t revealed because of mommy issues, second, she wouldn’t cause issues to be a hero in the first place, lastly, Juleka wouldn’t lose the bee miraculous. This also applies to Miracle Queen, Queen Banana, ehhh, Chloé gets different akuma identities, okay?

- Chameleon: Again, different context, different identity. No Chameleon, you’re getting something else.

- Mayura: Definitely getting replaced with a different peacock holder.

- Backwarders: AHHH-

- Weredad: how to add Juleka?

- Miraculer: hhhhhh

- Ikari Gozen: Boy, do I have plans for this! (no i don’t)

- Félix/Punisher Trio: Emilie is alive, Gabriel not too depresso espresso

I refuse to go any further if I ever plan to go this far with my AU

Bro, another 1:00AM post today. Might just rework the previously posted chapters and change the plot a little. I re-read it and I don’t like what I’ve made that much. Especially with the personalities given to Juleka and Kagami. But I most definitely want to rework Chloé’s redemption progress since I KNOW I rushed it a little too much.

Honestly, I feel like Copycat wouldn’t happen in Kuro Cardinal. Juleka would probably show up at the reveal since Marinette’s main reason on missing the reveal is that she was being a thief, one. Two, I feel as if Empress wouldn’t akumatized Theo into Copycat to copy Kuro Neko due to the genders. Not saying that it can’t happen, but I feel as if it’d be unlikely. Three, Cat Noir also aggravated Theo by telling him that he and Ladybug are romantically involved. Kagami wouldn’t do that, so it wouldn’t stand. Even if Lady Cardinal was confronted with this revelation from Theo, she’d make it very clear that she’s only interested in girls. So now I’m thinking of a replacement chapter for it.

This isn’t just me making excuses for not writing Copycat.

For awhile now I had the idea where it’s Miraculous Ladybug and Pokémon. Each student is like some secret club leader and there is a school equivalent of the elite 4 but no one knows who’s who and you’re bound to secrecy if you battle one of these leaders.

I had a concept that people kept challenging Juleka as the eighth student leader, an alleged dark type master, but they leave confuzzled because she is not a dark type master and pretends to be a ghost type master, which is not a leader, but is instead a part of the elite students as the fairy type master

Rose was doubted to be the fairy type master but people tried to challenge her. No one knows she’s the dark type master and she just doesn’t say anything for the lols
