alright so, anything written down here was spoken about with emory ( @deamhanta ) and was way before anything involving marauders, etc..
orion was always more of a follower than a leader, he never liked to stand up to people because he’s kind of a coward, but an ambitious one.
he got married to walburga, because their parents decided so, at 17 years old. he never really got to fall in love by himself, and truth be told, he hated her (and still does).
pressurized to get an heir by his parents, they tried with walburga, many times. they almost had their first kid at 22 years old, not 34 (sirius), they had planned to call him cyrus, but he died before he was born, which completely destroyed orion, but he got over it after a while.
he was actually?? the happiest when they got sirius. he really loved his kids but he was deadly scared of walburga so he kept following her even when it was wrong to do so.
eventually he did speak up, after regulus’s death, he tried to make her listen to him for once. well, it’s what got him killed, poisoned by his own wife.
